I ordered classic boba milk tea and it was delicious! The boba team has a lemon flavor that adds extra flavor to it. The place itself is correctly located in one of the buildings in Amazon, which gives Happy Lemon special attention. Both, inside and outside has a lot of open space.
This place was packed when I arrive but service was pretty fast (15min wait) considering there were only 3 young ladies behind the counter. I order the Chocolate Bubble waffle and I also had a strawberry cheese cake smoothie. Both items were delicious.
Happy Lemon was pretty good! We came on a Wednesday evening, and it wasn’t too slow. I ordered the Ube Black Tea with Taro Balls, and my wife ordered the Strawberry Trifle Green Milk Tea. Both tasted great. The drinks were a little pricy and a little thin, but they were still good.
It was slow on a Sunday afternoon around 4:00. I was serviced right away and got my drinks quickly. The women had smiles on their faces and were friendly to us. My goddaughter and I loved our drinks! I’m not a huge fan of tapioca pearls (boba) so I always opt for other toppings. The taro balls were lightly flavored, soft and chewy (not as chewy as boba though. I enjoyed this combination with my tea. We don’t have this as a topping in Hawaii. I wish it was an option! Regarding prices, $7-$8 is the new norm for drinks in general, not just boba. You have to consider location and now inflation. Shops in Honolulu, San Francisco, Oakland, and Los Angeles also charge these kinds of prices. I have not seen boba drinks for under $6 for awhile. Prices have been steadily rising for several years now.
They called to let me know they are out of boba when I placed an order through an app, that’s why I’m giving 5 stars. I ordered right before closing btw… I haven’t even got the order, but is 💯
This establishment lies in the bustling heart of the Corporate world, but unfortunately, it lacks the warmth and friendliness one would hope for. The bubble tea they offer is excessively sweet and falls short of being truly enjoyable. Recently, we decided to try their 2 taro milk teas—one with less than 25% sugar and the other at the regular sweetness level. Regrettably, both beverages turned out to be quite unpleasant. Considering the high prices and the failure to meet our expectations, it is unlikely that we will visit this place again.
Probably the most relaxing bubble tea shop I've ever walked into, the service is great and staff is super friendly. The bubble waffle is a must try and of course the tea is always satisfactory, the shop does get really busy during weekends so wait times can very heavily, especially during rush hour but all in all it's a place I'd highly recommend.
Firstly I am a huge boba fan and I have been to other Happy Lemon locations but this one just does not cut it for me. Stopped by on a not so busy Thursday evening while I was in downtown and ordered the ube milk with boba, strawberry milk tea with lychee jelly and rock salt cream, the chocolate bubble waffles with the tiramisu salt crema. I liked my Ube milk tea with boba, the strawberry with lychee jelly was good too but the main attraction chocolate bubble waffle (which i lofe at other locations) was not cooked well. Was still a little wet not crispy enough. They could and should have left the waffle for another 45seconds atleast to cook it further if not more. The tiramisu dip is my fav but the not so great chocolate waffle ruined it for us. Sadly have been to better Happy Lemon locations and I will skip this one.
Bubble waffle is very good but it's missing some flavors. It would be nice if they would have classic sweet sauce like nutella or custard, they gave me some oreo whipped cream but it was very difficult to eat from small container because it was very thick. Boba milk tea was good.
This is one of the boat places closest to me and out of the Moo bar this has better pricing, especially for how tall your drink is. It’s a very roomy shop and there’s even more seating on the outside. It’s located in an Amazon center. Every time I’ve been I’ve been greeted with quality service and the quality of the drinks are even better. My only complaint is that there’s no popping Boba but so far I haven’t been able to find a place in Seattle that has that.
