Great staff always clean and great bakery
Very expensive,, and they hardly have any medicine. Probably the worst grocery store in Kansas City
My wife and I went there to pick up food to eat on the road. The staff is amazing! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most importantly, the food is great. Fresh deli items and sweets. Great place to shop as an alternative to big supermarkets.
While the food was prime, I couldn't say the same about the people who work here. Stockers in the aisles were clearly miffed that I chose their aisle to walk down. One guy had the audacity to roll his eyes directly at me and breathed a sigh of frustration as I walked by him. And the lady at the register was no better. She never said one word to me. I understand the holidays can be frustrating, and people can bring out the worst in other people, but you have a job in customer service. Be nice. Everyone has bad days. We don't know what's happened to them either. But a smile and nod go a long way!
Stopped in on my way home, first time ever, grabbed some potato salad, baked beans and some baked goods, everything was awesome. When they asked, are you a member? I should have joined ( they should have told me to join, I paid stupid high prices.....Member pricing was good( if I was a member)
I was checking out and the cashier (1019). Was rude and looking at me like he had an issue with me at the end.(idk if he is prejudice) (probably) He handed me the receipt like I had Covid but nice to the next customer (white). Everyone was nice up until that point. That’s why he works there where they don’t pay you nothing.
Lovely Lil grocery store. I got lunch of sushi and apples for lunch. Had to use the ladies room. Lol. Everything was pleasant. Friendly employees!
When possible I try to shop here. Stores are nicely laid out, aisles well marked, staff helpful and friendly. Great produce. I was disappointed my last visit to the KC area. Hen House used to offer the most delicious fresh off the bone sliced turkey and now they don't. Also, the Fairway location, a much smaller store than other locations, didn't offer many of the brands I was looking for in chips or bagged popcorn...the brands every grocery store carries. So as much of a fan I was, this visit was disappointing.
I normally love the staff here but Abigail is a real grumpy minion. No smile, just angry and really pissed me off. You need to turn the frown upside down Abigail.
I love this grocery store. I wanted to leave a review because I always get great service from the staff, as well as fresh meat, fish, and dairy. Lots of local produce available as well. The music is also delightful. It stocks just about everything I need and not too much more at a reasonable price. I feel like I can come here and relax, compared to the active warzone that is Whole Foods.
