The hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly and very helpful and the room was what you'd expect in this class of a hotel.
(Writing this from the hotel) My husband and I are celebrating our first wedding anniversary, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. Great location, and views from our window. It’s nice and spacious. The beds are comfy, and so are the pillows. The lobby is pretty. However, the bathroom and the living room area could have been cleaner. The weight scale in the bathroom is most likely out of battery. The service could have been better. We asked for more water and coffee pods, but we never received them. I’d still recommend it due to its location.
This Historical building was amazing. It was so beautiful with excellent view of the Washington Monument from our room. The beds were comfortable with great linens. The staff was top notch and loved the Round Bar in the lobby for pre dinner drinks. Loved our stay
Im not one to stay at ihg properties. I usually look for trendy and hip but this property may change my mind. Josefine rememeber the reason for our stay and sent us a treat and beautiful card on our second day. Close to everything and perfecy for thr holidays. Magical spot
One of the most special places in DC! I've stayed here, been to weddings, dined, and used the Spa. Definitely have a mint julep and learn about the hotel's unique history.

The very best hotel in DC, if not in the US. Very quiet, spotlessly clean, with none of the cold vibes and sharp edges of modern American "luxury" hotels. Everything works, everyone's friendly and kind, and the vibe is a well-upholstered and quiet warmth.

We had a wonderful stay at the historic Willard Hotel with our 3-year-old daughter while attending a friend’s wedding nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly, our room was spotless, and the service went above and beyond our expectations. Surprise gift left in our room with a lovely message, our daughter loved it! The on-site café was fantastic—everything we tried was delicious! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely stay here again next time we’re in DC.
The hotel was excellent, but the service fell short of expectations. Notably, the individuals responsible for parking our vehicle exhibited unprofessional behavior. The hotel was heavily congested due to non-guests, creating an overwhelming atmosphere.
