I have been this place many times, this is my choice of hotel every time when I stay in DC, but I feel like the quality of service goes down quite a bit. First I didn't find sleepers and only one robe for me and my wife, so I requested sleepers and another robe for us. When the robe and sleepers are delivered, I found there is clear stain on one of them. I am kind of disappointed.
We are in complete love with The Willard. Ali made our stay wonderful. Service was impeccable, check in was smooth and our suite was impressive. Beds were so comfortable. Lots of amenities in the bathroom and breakfast was delicious.
I had the pleasure of attending several conferences at Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C., and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel’s rich history adds a unique charm to every visit, making it much more than just a venue. The atmosphere is elegant, the service is professional, and the overall setting is perfect for both business and inspiration. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates a blend of history and sophistication.

Not only did they promptly provide recommendations, but before we could even place a DoorDash order, a staff member personally delivered the items to our room. This level of attentiveness and care was greatly appreciated. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism. They were warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive, creating a comfortable and seamless experience. Absolutely exceptional service. From the moment we checked in until we checked out we were treated with upmost respect. The hotel itself and the room was very clean and classy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Complementary Nespresso pods were very good and was a great start to the morning. Would extremely recommend this place to anyone, very upscale and classy.
Great hotel! The room was beautiful and impeccably clean! The valet, front desk and housekeeping services were all very good. It’s a little pricey but we had a very nice stay here. Two warnings, though: 1. Stay away from the French restaurant there, Cafe Du Parc. Very rude host(s) and the food sucked. Just to give you a little insight, we wanted coffee and dessert the first night we arrived. The restaurant told us we couldn’t be seated in the main dining room if we didn’t order dinner, that we had to go to their little cafe area. No problem. We walked across the lobby to the cafe. The girl at the register didn’t say a word, just looked at us. We ordered 5 desserts and three coffees. Every dessert went in the trash after one bite. We would have complained but the girl had disappeared after bringing the food and coffees out and never came back! We actually had another incident at the main restaurant the morning we left but it’s too much to write…just do yourself a favor and stay away from Cafe Du Park. 2. The parking fee is a little excessive at $78/ day on top of the hotel charging you an additional $35/ day amenities fee
Probably the best hotel experience I’ve had. The service team, housekeeping, food service, bell stand, everything. Top to bottom wouldn’t change a thing. Room was clean and super comfortable. And the location for business or touring DC cannot be beat. Can’t wait to come back again!

Although my trip began with a brief issue, your front desk staff, and the manager on duty on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, handled everything with such professionalism and care. They quickly resolved the matter and were incredibly generous with their service and the room upgrade. We were also delighted to attend the wonderful black‑tie event that evening, which made the experience even more memorable. Been to a lot of Hotels including luxury resorts. This was the best experience, hands down! Keep up the excellence! Only issue was two of the treadmills in the fitness center were nonfunctional.
The stay at Willard was exceptional. Everyone was so kind and professional from service to ammenties everything was great. Food is also great. Rooms are very big and spacious. Biggest plus is location. Walking distance from pretty much everything anyone want to experience. Valet was also very convienent. Overall great 2 nights spent.
