A popular bar/restaurant in Center City that's also a brewery. The food is the usual sort of stuff you'd expect to find in a high end bar, but it's of unusually high quality. The friendly bar staff (especially Mariah and Liam) take really good care of the customers. I've never seen anyone waiting to be offered a drink or a refill, and they can help you out with questions about the food and beer selection. They also have a happy hour and a membership club that offers discounts.
Nice place to stop on your walk around downtown . Good happy hour specials lots of different brews to try i though they where very good Not to noisy so you can talk and enjoy friends .Bartenders where very friendly.
Food and drinks were reallu good. Its a busy place and had a short wait for seating. However, the bar was immediately available and food is served there. Great for a night/drinks with friends.
I was in town for a conference and visited twice. The burgers are great, and the beer selection is broad. The light lager was my favorite. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
Truly, I say to you, let your heart be glad at Iron Hill. Their staff serves with a spirit of kindness and wisdom, guiding you through many innovative brews and hearty feasts with a professional touch. Go in peace, for the atmosphere is lively and the offerings are a blessing to all who enter. Five stars, for their hospitality is great.
Perfect location . Downtown Philly near reading market and convention center. Great atmosphere. I had the Orangecreamcicle IPA. It it is creamy and just enough sweetness. Really hit the spot.
Wit was our bartender/server. We sat at the bar and he was very attentive, and gave great recommendations. The Philadelphia egg rolls were so good, the nachos were flavorful, the Buffalo wings were crispy and not overly wet with sauce. The sweet potatoes fries came with this dipping sauce that should be sold to take home lol overall cute place with good food that we just stumbled upon.
I must admit that the service was decent for my first visit. However, I didn't like the food. The broccoli was too crunchy, and the salmon was unseasoned and flavorless. The green goddess sauce and mashed potatoes were excellent though.
I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the employees. Unfortunately we happen to go there the same weekend as a convention so they were out of a lot of foods but I did not hold that against them in this review. I don't usually leave reviews too much on bathrooms but theirs were exceptionally clean the only small thing I had any problem with was the wait after we ordered to get the food. it was a little extensive besides that everything was great and I would definitely go back on a non-convention day
First visit to Iron Hill since the reorganization. I received $20 worth of points as a former King of the Hill member. Our server Colin was aces. Beer was as good as ever, as was the food. I will definitely be back.
