Was so excited to see Iron Hill open again. Went to dinner yesterday with my daughter. Caitlin. Everything was so good. Our waitress was great. And dessert was so good. Welcome back and we will be back again next week.
Great experience overall. All 8 of us ordered different food, and everything was really good. Initially we took a couple of beer flights, and most of us settled on a couple of IPAs, while I chose Brambleberry - light and fruity farmhouse ale. My wife and I enjoyed mushroom soup and Moroccan salmon. We had to wait awhile for beer, although it was understandable considering it was Jan 1st, right after the Mummers show ended , and while Eagles game was going on TV - the restaurant was packed. Nevertheless the food was delivered quickly for all of us. Special thanks to Adam, our waiter - he was awesome.
We came to this Iron Hill location because our hotel was just around the corner. Coming from a county that doesn't allow food to be sold in breweries (BOOOO!!), we were super excited to try some new brews and have a nice meal. We loved the vibe in the bar area, which was filled with bar seating, high tops, and booths. The other half of the space was more resturant-like seating. Service was fast and efficient. Only putting 4 stars because the entree that we ordered did not come as described. Either way, I would recommend this location to anyone!
Good bar food with great beer selections and a nice big pour on the wines. Brussels sprouts and bruschetta apps were perfect and entrees (turkey burger, Reuben, bucatini) were exactly what we needed. We came in for a late dinner on a Friday after just getting into town and our server great and food came out quickly, even given how busy they were. I really liked the blue cheese dressing for the salad too!
Great beer selection and friendly staff! Food was good too, I tried the salad and my coworkers had burgers. Great location if you're staying at a Marriott but want to avoid the hotel bar. We would definitely go back! Service at the bar was a little slow compared to sitting in the restaurant area.
The food was good and the service seemed to be as well, until we got the check for our party of 10 and found out that they had charged almost for every soda refill, of which most people had gotten multiple. The waiter never disclosed this at the beginning of the meal or when people were ordering drinks, and actively pushed everyone to get soda refills through the whole meal. The tricked us into spending much more money than we meant to.
The food was AMAZING!! I ordered nachos and a pub burger with fries. The portions were beyond expectations. I couldn't finish this which was the only sad part of the meal. VERY reasonable prices. Our server Ryan was very nice and helpful with questions and introducing the house made rooter. Very awesome first time experience I will be back!!
Had a delicious grilled salmon salad and a tasty IPA. The watermelon radishes were a fantastic addition (i normally don’t like any kind of radish!) that gave the salad a great range of tangy flavors without going overboard. Service was efficient and friendly.
Ruby, Piper and Nio are AMAZING on bar!! Friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable! Stopped in 3 times in 4 days because their so awesome!! Food and beer were great. The teams energy is the lock though. Highly recommend.
The food is average at best. If you like bar food that’s what this is. The pub burger was meh. I didn’t finish it. Salad was good. The beer excellent. If you like beer they have a lot of great options. Service and staff and front desk folks were amazing. 👍🏻
