Kid to Kid Arlington

I sell here at least 4-6 times a month (storage unit buyer) lol and it's always a pleasant experience. The employees are super helpful and friendly. They don't have a high turn over rate, so it's always the same friendly faces you see and once they get to know you, they always greet you by your name. In my opinion they pay higher than other second hand stores I've been to for gently used clothing, shoes and toys. I am definitely a return customer and will continue to be. Thanks Kid to Kid Staff for being so Great!

My new obsession! Where do I start? Great selection, ORGANIZED, clean, DEALS ON DEALS, and great FULL staff! I started following Kid to Kid Arlington on FB after my trip, and they make cute, fun videos and keep up to date on sales and new arrivals. I love it there! I've told SO many friends and family about this store. Can't wait for the next sale!

Great selection of kids clothes and newborn items, especially basic tees, shorts, etc. - No sense in buying brand new when you can get gently worn for a great price. Service is spotty but good enough that I’ll keep coming back. I’ve sold things here before and they only give you a small fraction of the value but something is better than nothing. I appreciate being able to share it with others and extending the life of items than trashing them.

Nice options to either get cash or in store credit for outgrown kids clothes. They accept more than clothes which is nice

I called before making the drive to the store because I wanted to sell a solid wood dollhouse. I figured this was not the place to sell if I wanted to make any money, but thought I would give it a try. I asked the associate who answered the phone several times what percentage of the value of the item is offered when selling and she kept reiterating, "It just depends," despite my persistent questions. Reluctantly, I headed to the store and upon arrival waited to be greeted by an associate after signing in. The associate did not ask any questions related to the brand name, value, or the price I paid, which in my opinion should be standard practice. During this process, I watched several associates mishandle our dollhouse by sliding it (painted wood) across a table, and picking it up and slamming the folding doors. I also overheard an associate make a comment questioning what the dollhouse was used for when it is clearly a toy. After waiting an extended period of time, I was told they would offer me $9, which is nothing compared to what the dollhouse is actually worth. I would expect to be offered that price for a bag of used clothes but not for an expensive dollhouse. I immediately gathered my item and left. This was my first and last time visiting this store.

Great place to shop for kids new and gently used clothing and toys. Friendly staff, clothes are neat and organized by size and gender.

I have sold here a few times, never had any issues. Today I go in to sell and since I live a quite a bit away I asked the young lady at the front how many bins do they consider it for to be “drop off” because I’m trying to avoid dropping off and coming back. The young lady said more than 3 bins is considered drop off so I reiterated “okay so I can fill 3 bins and wait” and she said yes. Then they check me in and say since I have 3 bins I need to drop off, I said no I asked before hand the lady said 3 was fine to wait. They the get the blonde lady (I guess manager) and she’s pushing back and I state again that I asked beforehand and I was told 3, she the gets snippy with me saying we’ll do a one time exception but the wait will be longer. Completely understand if they have a policy but the worker also didn’t even know properly herself, I told the lady that maybe the workers should know the proper procedures she then says “okay well we can pull the camera footage to see what was said but your wait will be about a hour and a half.” Basically calling me a liar in front of the workers and customers. Mind you the worker who told me the wrong information is just standing there not once said she messed up and told me the wrong number. She just allowed the manager to think I was being a rude customer and have her manager call me a liar in front of other customers basically. Never returning here again.

I have gone to Kid to Kid for school uniforms several years now. The staff are always friendly. The store is very clean. You do earn reward points for the money spent. They have a vast amount of gently used baby items. They also carry new items as well. If I had a little one, I would definitely shop here.
