Amazing food and service!! We came here for the first time after searching for a healthy option near downtown. Julissa helped us order and gave some great recommendations. Our expectations were totally surpassed!! Definitely one of our favorite meals we have had in a very long time! Highly recommend the curry salmon and Thai chicken salad!

This place has fantastic options and quality of food, but what truly separates them from other locations is their prompt communication. They have it figured out. I order large catering orders from here a few times a year and every time it gets delivered I receive compliments for its quality and variety of choices. For catering situations in the KC metro don't look anywhere else. Modern Market will get you taken care of.
Food was delicious and very healthy! All the ingredients are good for you and I didn’t feel bad (bloated) after eating the meal. One of my new favorites when in Kansas City and will for sure be back!
They look pretty understaffed so I tipped really well, they get 3 stars because their management obviously didn’t staff them well considering the girl taking orders was also helping cook and bringing orders out. It also didn’t help that they weren’t going by the table number system and simply just bringing things out to ask if it was ours. Like why did we get a table number then? While taking our orders, the employee didn’t have a very good understanding of the menu items and was very slow on the register. Again I tipped well because I know she was doing her best. It’s a management thing. Odd experience, and it took a very long time to get our meals.
This was my first visit today and it was amazing. The wonderful lady at the register helped me with ordering my food. The food was fast, fresh, and amazing!!! 10 out of 10. I will be back again!!
The experience was amazing, top notch customer service, food is fresh and busting with flavor, every ingredient! I recommend Modern Market Eatery to everyone, I only wish we had one closer to home! Will definitely be back! Price is affordable, and if you’re going to eat out, why not make a healthy and fresh choice? It’s a no brainer- try Modern Marker you won’t regret!!
Ordered through door dash. Paid $8 for a SUPER small portion and looked nothing like the pic on the website.
The Baja blackened chicken was absolutely outstanding, earning a perfect rating for its flavor. However, there was a frustrating delay with my order being ready significantly later than expected. While the food was fantastic, timely service would greatly enhance the experience.
