My first visit to the Modern Market Eatery in Power and Light was a great experience. The location is convenient near the streetcar line with a well lit and safe entrance. Inside is bright, clean, and fresh. Ordering was easy. Even though the restaurant was not busy and there were many open tables, the food did take a little while to reach our table. I ordered the steak salad and really enjoyed it. Service was friendly and helpful. The restrooms were clean and had hot water. Overall, a solid first visit and I will return.
I am once again having to leave this place a bad review! I ordered the chicken banh mi. And what do you know! There's no chicken on it! You've officially lost my business!
The food was wonderful. The Baja Blackened Chicken on the salad had great spice without being overpowering. The Bacon Jam Club was delicious and the meat was tender. The Berry Hibiscus Iced Tea was full of flavor and the perfect compliment to the food, especially the salad. The portion sizes are good and filling without being heavy. This was my first time ordering from here and it instantly became a favorite.
Ordered through DoorDash so can’t speak on the physical restaurant but the food was incredible! We had the blackened mango bowl, Thai coconut chicken bowl, kids chicken plate and roasted veggies. Portions were satisfying and the flavors were amazing!
The dining experience was disappointing, primarily due to issues with the order not being fulfilled as expected. Although the food presentation may have potential, receiving the wrong items overshadowed the enjoyment. It's a shame, as the concept holds promise, but improvements are needed for a better experience.
I was quite underwhelmed by my first experience here today. I placed an online order and got the Baja Blackened Chicken Salad. When I got to the restaurant, there was one single girl running food to tables, packing web orders, and taking orders at the counter. I’m sure this is why my order came out 20 minutes after the stated time online. The salad itself was good; I enjoyed the flavors and it was a good size. Unfortunately, I was given several very large pieces of onion which were unsuitable for a salad experience. Not sure if I would return.
Such a nice place! The girl at the cash register was great! She was super nice. The food was fresh and delish I would recommend this place for a healthy Tasty choice. We order the Buddha bowl and the chipotle chicken sandwich ( this one the meat was a bit dry and the sauce was not enough)
This was an AMAZING experience from the customer service, atmosphere, and delicious fresh food. Melissa was exceptionally helpful and excelled in customer service. Will definitely return next time I visit 💯
Every salad I’ve had from here is SO good and the portions are great.
10 inch pizza for almost $20. That would be a medium on other pizza places. Save your money and eat elsewhere
