Foods I was looking for were either on the shelves or an associate stopped what he was doing and found a similar item for me to purchase. The cashier allowed me to use a shopping bag to gather and make purchases while my custom hoagie was being made. I also purchased fresh fruits and cheese here. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I will shop here again.🎒
I usually always order the same thing and they make it deliciously but it sucks when the price changes depending on who I go to. Please try and keep the price consistent between employees bc they won't accommodate if we tell them someone charged a different price every other time. Edit to say: please stop racial profiling people. Watching me because my hand is in my pocket and fake talking to me is rude and wrong when I just walked around the store and go in every single week.
BEST HOAGIES AND SANDWICHES IN THE CITY IS WHY OLD NELSON'S HAVE SO MANY STORES IN PHILLY. FRESH ROLLS AND VEGETABLES. WAY BETTER THEN OVERRATED SOUTH PHILLY PLACES. The woman behind the register counter was extremely rude to me. Almost intentionally because she became pleasant with the customer behind me.
They jacked up prices on some of their stuff because the pope is coming to the city. You're already going to get plenty of business now you're scamming your regulars. Won't be going here anymore.
The main reason this gets a good review is because it's a convenience store in Center City. That's almost unheard of. Has all the basics.
No chicken in the salad. Never again will I get it.
Every time I'm in Philly I have to stop by Old Nelson's and grab a sausage and egg sandwich on kaiser roll. It's so good!
