Great place to bring kids and also has a lot of history and information about Michigan for the adults. Second time being there super fun!

There's really no room for improvement at this place; they're doing it pretty perfectly. The admission prices are extremely affordable (we had 4 children and 3 adults in our group and our total was $27!). Everything at this place is hands-on. It's so fun for kids to run around and touch EVERYTHING. Boats, planes, bridges, camp sites, a waterfall...the list goes on and on! Don't skip this if you have little ones that want to really GET INTO the exhibits.

Great place to take the kids anytime but even better in the winter to let them run around a bit and explore new things with other kids. They were able to try out some archery and learn about owls this trip. Then they had a blast with all the usual hands on exhibits and experiences here.

Affordable. Educational. Fun. However, it gets insanely crowded, which quickly ruins the enjoyment. They should have a capacity limit. Unfortunately, a lot of parents bring their sick children here. They are inconsiderate and have no regard for anyone else's children. There's ALWAYS sick people here, kids and adults. Please, stay home if you or your kids are sick! Cover your mouth, wash your hands. It's common sense and common courtesy! Otherwise, it would be 5 stars. I wish they had sanitizer dispensers, that would help. The kitchen/food play room is full of germs. I really hope they sanitize it! Kids touching everything, putting it in their mouths, coughing, sneezing, and picking their nose. Gross. Parents, do better! Last time I went there with my family, we observed a family with a child that was coughing so aggressively, sounded they had whooping cough. Literally, the kid sounded like a seal. Smh. The treehouse is super fun, as is the bridge. Unfortunately, people don't follow the rules. It has a weight limit and you aren't supposed to exceed a certain number of people at a time. It can only hold a certain amount of weight. They need an employee to watch that area before someone gets hurt, since some people have a problem watching their children and following rules.

We had such a great time! It was so interactive and educational. Facility was clean and parking was so convenient and easy. They had a beautiful private room for nursing mothers with a comfortable chair and the facility was stroller friendly. Staff was helpful and friendly but I’d like to give a shoutout to Ms. Pat. She was absolutely wonderful.

We had such a fun time here! Lots of cool exhibits. All of the workers were VERY friendly, engaging and patient. Kids can learn about the ecosystems in the state and explore. There are virtual experiences and places to climb, jump and explore. It’s a great deal at $5 per kid, $9 for adults and $50 for a members - plus it’s free every first Sunday. As a bonus, it looks out on a great view of the Detroit river. Just need some family friendly dining close by to make this the perfect afternoon outing. Highly recommend.

We loved the Adventure Center. It is $7 to get in which is greatly priced. Our kids always have a blast here.

Incredible treasure! I recently visited with my 10 year old daughter. They have put so much thought into every detail here, it's truly amazing. The archery is such a cool feature (8 and up) instructors are there to teach. There are also special activities in the classroom upstairs. I wish I would have realized this place existed sooner and that I had a place like this when I was a kid. Would highly recommend! Affordable too!

This place is the best! It is so much fun and lots of things to learn! Great place to take kids around walking age to pre-teen I'd guess. You can easily spend 2-3hrs there. I absolutely love this place! And so does my son (age 2).
