- Emergency Financial Assistance: Provides grants of up to $3,000 per year to support low-income San Franciscans living with HIV, helping to mitigate economic and housing barriers that impact their medical care. In 2024/25, 1,305 clients accessed $1,261,957 in emergency funds.
- Legal Advocacy: Connects people living with HIV/AIDS to the income and healthcare necessary to secure stable housing and improve health outcomes. In 2024/25, 1,813 individuals accessed and retained stable income and healthcare.
- Workforce Development: Offers nationally recognized rehabilitation services, including assessment, career navigation, and job search assistance. In 2024/25, PRC helped 450 adults reinvigorate their livelihoods, independence, and self-esteem.
- Residential Services: Provides residential treatment, supportive housing, and employment training for longer-term social rehabilitation, helping individuals rebuild their lives.

Awesome Service Agency! Whether you need help with a disability filing or you need help reentering the workforce, PRC workers hard to remove any barriers to finding the best employment- even if you have no idea what you want to do. They are a Department of Rehabilitation vendor, so the have all sorts of other rehabilitation services available besides just employment readiness.
Literally went in looking for some kind of help, I was robbed the night before of all of my belongings aside from my phone and MacBook, I have nothing and no one out here (or anywhere thanks to Covid taking a majority of my family) and these people put me in a room at Sunnyside motel that looks like it was tailored for a suicide. From the ominous warnings of past crazy tenants, to the chair placed beneath a coat hook in the closet, and even the finer details of human fecal matter and removal of all electrical face plates. You can not tell me for a single moment that you(Evelyn) didn’t bother to do the slightest vetting. And that there is nothing more your agency can do for me with the residual 700 dollars in funding you get from my near mental break down in your office? Not even an “are you feeling well? What are you looking or needing at this moment? And how can we help” nope! Just me shuddering, clearly in a crisis, and a “good luck” as you hold your breath, in disgust since I have not been able to access running water in almost a week. You guys have zero care for the human being that walks through your doors.
If you need any assistance with any anything these people will help you Jose is amazing and Mike the attorney is really good, and Dee's awesome. They're just all around really nice and really about what you really need and help you get there.
The new offices are still under construction but from the looks of them so far the architecture and interior design is going to be grand. More space and departments in the same area instead of scattered on different floors. Due to the homeless Riff Raff outside, you do have to buy the reception desk to be let in.
Prc staff are the most dedicated in helping indavisuals that have complications in applying for Ssi independently. When work was interfering with my mental health the staff here gave me a whole lot of support and i got the mandated help requested. I feel that they are a good team to seek help from advocates.
Great caring staff, safe inviting facilities. I recently received my peer to peer LyftUp certification, I’m very grateful for everything they’ve done for me.
This place offers support to HIV+ people. The director is such a nice guy. He has always greeted me with a warm smile.
over 2 decades PRC has helped me access everything to do with keeping myself healthy. From access to SSDI to referral to my Dr. of 16 yrs, to helping me navigate employment benefit council when I had to finally leave the workplace. over the years they've had some growing pains but thanks to their new equal access to healthcare program they seem capable of returning to their adept efficasy.
