I’ve always been a fan of QFC, having grown up close enough to one to walk there at a young age. They have everything you could need and are open 24hrs. Their produce is generally great, and their deli is also very good. This location, however is a bit different from my Normandy Park location. The service is not always so great here. Today, we waited by the deli case for about 15 minutes while the one guy working very slowly went about helping another person. The guy from the cheese area actually walked over to get something, saw us, walked past Kenny (the guy cutting meat) and had a short conversation with him, then just walked out and back to the cheese area. We finally bailed on our sandwich idea and instead checked out and left. On the way out we noticed that around the corner was a girl at the cake area doing some tasks. At any other location Kenny would have asked the cheese guy to help or asked her to help or jumped on the phone to call for help. He also certainly would have worked a little faster if he had someone waiting that long.
QFC just makes me happy. We live in an area where there are none so we went out of our way to stop for road trip snacks at this one. They've a free underground parking lot. Lots of hot food offerings. Great sale items and so many friendly employees you might forget you're in Seattle (😉 old joke that Seattle-ites are not friendly. Kind of like it rains all the time)
It's always pretty much the same you shop you have to check yourself out, and dont even get a employee discount. Haha. They have good produce and good variety of merchandise. Personally I dont much care for there meat. One the butchers like to hide fat and grissel under the one good piece of meat. I would grocery shopping there just get your meat elsewhere.
Really nice market it's Kroger so smiths and frys related .we shopped at the seattle washington downtown location and it's super cool
This supermarket is a good place to find most of the daily life items. Prices are good. If you have card, several items have discounts. Getting card is easy and there is no fee for the card. Also there is a way to make your own fresh peanut and almond butter.
Dishonest store. Doesn't stock special deal products listed in weekly flyer. There was no space in the freezer to even fit cooked frozen large shrimp. Nice seafood employee even checked in back freezer, nada.
Only one bathroom for customers? That's super gross.
I do all my grocery shopping at QFC. Sometimes I am able to find things I use at a Reduced price. This store sometimes has buy 1 get 1 free deals. I highly recommend QFC to stretch your food budget money. When I was charged the wrong price and I returned the next day with my receipt, the customer service person gave me the money I was owed back to the card I used. They have fair prices.
Checkout is VERY slow (5+ minute wait even well before 5pm) when buying ORCA cards, alcohol or lottery tickets, because all those are handled at the same section in the back of the store, that section only has one checkout. Do not enter this store with a phone without immediately connecting that phone to the store Wi-Fi. The shelves somehow act as Faraday cages even when a phone is on the very front of the shelf, so if you happen to mislay your phone while it's not on Wi-Fi then dialing it won't help!
This QFC location is open late compared to other grocery stores in the area. There are always good deals whether they are just the QFC card deals or the digital coupons. Sometimes the prices are a bit pricey, but that's why I recommend you buy what's on sale. The store is kept clean and there's at least one security guard visible. The employees are helpful and there's parking available underground.
