We highly recommend Ready2Nurse as a premiere Home Health Agency. Read on to find out why.... PART ONE---Choosing Ready2Nurse. My wife broke her leg. It was painful and required an operation with a 3-week hospital stay, We found out on a Friday she would be discharged the next day. Medicare had denied additional hospitalization. Instead, home nursing and therapy were approved. I began calling nursing agencies. Ready2Nurse was the first to respond and followed up with additional calls during the day. Lenssa was super at answering my questions and providing information I had not even thought of asking. Ready2Nurse also had the best website which described their services. There was also a wonderful description of the founder's history and company mission to provide exemplary home health care. Here is PART TWO of my review..... My wife was not mentally or physically ready to be discharged after 3 weeks of hospitalization for her broken leg. We contracted with a home caregiver firm to provide 3 days of around the clock support. They disclaimed giving any medical or therapy support. After the three days, I became the 24/7 caregiver. So, when nurse Amy from Ready2Nurse made her first visit we both were in need of her attention. During the recovery, Amy has visited several times and provided much needed advice. She has been instrumental in helping us through this difficult time. We were clueless when it came to medications and additional hygiene to aid recovery. Amy also has a competent staff. Dovhilyn provided needed occupational therapy. Phillip made twice per week physical therapy visits. My wife has looked at his visits with great anticipation and his therapy has brought super results. During this time, my wife has been able to graduate from using various implements to get out of bed. Instead of a strap to lift her leg, heavy reliance on the bed rails and a spotter (me) she is able to move freely from the bed to a walker. We owe much of this to the exercises and guidance from Phillip. Can you tell how happy we are with Ready2Nurse? Amy and crew have made the path to recovery a smooth transition. Plus, we can't forget to mention the support provided by Amy's able assistant Shirley. She has provided logistic support throughout the process. She's kept us informed with texts and always responds to our queries. Shirley is the behind the scenes glue holding the operations together. Thank you, Thank you READY2NURSE.
Ready2Nurse provided post surgical physical therapy to my 92 year old mother. They not only provided excellent care, I would receive updates and reports from the physical therapist letting me know how my mom was progressing, her overall mood and physical state following their visits. They established an open line of communication with me right away that I really appreciated given the fact that my mom lives in an assisted living facility and not with me. I highly recommend this service without reservation!
