If I could leave 0 stars I would. My smoke detectors have never functioned properly in several units I built. They’ve been going off now for 12 hours. They are completely unwilling to honor their warranty and, in fact, the office manager hung up on me when I called to seek a remedy. Do not ever use them as they will not stand by warranty and will do as minimal work that they have to in order to get by. Bad customer service, bad warranty work and just a bad company, in my opinion.
Excellent experience! Really impressed with this company. We had a father daughter team that came out. They were punctual and professional. They took pride in their work and were proud of the company they represented . Made sure to explain to us what was done and how everything worked. Even fixed our ceiling fan that was pushing the cool air to the ceiling and not down through the room. Answered our questions.They had to drill into the wall and install outlet for our recessed lighting and ceiling fixture/fan. They cleaned up the drywall of the floor , really professional. They made sure we had a company sticker on our panel to contact them if we had any issues . It's little things like this that makes a big difference . I will refer them and I will also call them when ever we need any electric work completed. Thanks Again Schuman Electric Inc !
I was home, but i dislocated my knee recently so im on crutches, ibasked them to let me know when they were done so i could walk them out. Instead, i see their truck pull off so i come out of my room to find my house filthy from the work, shoe prints everywhere, they pushed things under my kids door, but the worst part is they left my front door WIDE OPEN! We had a complicated and expensive electrical job with our kitchen remodeling. The team initially sent to do the rough work and add the 220 wiring for our wall oven did a good job with the exception of placing the pendant lighting in the wrong place and cutting the holes in the ceiling too large. The issues really began with the finish work. The crew was sloppy and obviously did not know what they were doing. They "installed" the wall oven/microwave unit but failed to follow the written manufacturer instruction leaving the vents off. Unit had to be removed and reinstalled by another technician. In addition, they scratched two of my new cabinets and placed a dent in my new refrigerator. When they left after working all day (3 men) not one of the outlets worked. It took 3 more trips out for the work to be complete, all outlets and appliances to work. The undercabinet ourlets are an eyesore and the lighting under the cabinets sticks on and is not secure ar one end. I am going to investigate an alternative lighting method with another electrician. I must admit that the supervisor has been very responsive to our calls and has sent a technician immediately when we called with all the additional issues. Hopefully damage to my new cabinets can be repaired when installer comes to complete the trim.
They rewired my house when I moved in 15 years ago. Everything was perfect. Still is, but I had an outdoor junction box go out. They came out right away, got it fixed quickly, and charged a fair price. Will definitely continue to do business with them.

Called this place because my new home had their sticker as the company that did the electric work on my circuit breaker box. I need a line ran out to my shop in the back yard. They were supposed to call back to set up an estimate. Never heard from them. I rarely call twice. There's just too many others out there wanting work. They might be great. I will never know.
Called and spoke with Brain about replacing my eclectic panel and explain to him that I had 3 weeks to have it replaced or my homeowner insurance will be canceled. He gave a fair price. I sent him pictures after getting off the phone. Two days later I called him to see if he received them he said yes and forgot to reply to my email and needed a picture of the meter box. Once again I sent a picture and waiting two days for him to respond. So I called again and he said well my manager need to look at the meter because he thinks a wire may need to be replaced. Waited 3 days for someone to call me back...NOTHING..I called and left Brian a message and its been 3 weeks without a call back. Lost two weeks dealing with him. Called another company sent them the same pics and had it repaired in two weeks.
I highly recommend Schuman Electric. They immediately helped me with my exterior power box when I lost power. They are efficient, professional and very knowledgeable with every aspect of their profession. They do excellent quality work and do not take advantage of their customers.
