Met up with my brother and fam for lunch. Started off with a bowl of gumbo perfect with this cold weather. We love shrimp and grits so my wife ordered that and I had the 1/2 lb. burger with a fried egg paired with sweet potato fries. Very satisfying lunch. Reasonable prices and Great service too!
Really nice menu and a great price for seafood. Drinks were on point too. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back when we're in the area.
Nicely decorated and seafood Caribbean feel style spot located in the San Marci roundabout nxt to beach dinner! Serves beer & wine and will soon have a fully stocked bar near summer. Tuesday specials and daily lunch specials! Staff were nice and provided wonderful customer service. Upon entering order at the counter and then select a seat.
First time trying this establishment, ordered through Grubhub. We ordered Gator tail nuggets and the island sampler which consists of coconut shrimp, fish bites, onion rings and fried pickles. I'm only giving 4 stars because the onion rings were pretty soggy BUT that is expected since we got delivery O rings are best when they are fresh out of the fryer. The fish bites were absolutely amazing! I was afraid that it was going to be a low quality fishy tasting fish they would use (based on the price) but OMG they were AMAZING! The gator tail was amazing as well. I have been a loyal fan of gator's dockside but this tail exceeds any gator tail I've ever had so needless to say this is my new go to for gator tail! The spicy honey mustard for the gator tail was a 10 out of 10 . The zesty sause was also a 10 out of 10. The ranch did not taste homemade but wasn't the worst so I would give 7 out of 10 . Also the picture of the Island sampler is only half of what it originally was. My family got into it before I could take the picture so the quantity was way more that what is shown.
Great atmosphere! Lot's of fun. Melissa and Ana were great and fun. When in San Marco Square, it's a must visit. We had blackened and grilled fish tacos. Seafood gumbo to die for! Don't forget your fried green tomatoes as an appetizer
Super fresh, well prepared seafood in a casual, unfussy environment. GREAT value! Twice a month they offer 30 shrimp with 2 sides for $12.99!
Family Night Out was spectacular. We had an awesome selection of food. The atmosphere post dinner was so nice and we walked in the San Marco area. Will definitely be back🤗

Great seafood spot. Was looking for some real seafood on a trip back to Atlanta and stopped off by Jacksonville to see if I could pull it off before we left Florida. Couldn't have picked better. In the beautiful town of San Marcos aside of a big square with all sorts of shops and statues is a restaurant with so many choices on the menu I just went with the special of the day. Twenty shrimp with your choice of grilled, blackened, or scampi with two sides and a drink combo. Less than ten dollars, possibly ten with tax, can't find the receipt. Not only was the shrimp nice and plump, but fresh and cooked well. Plenty of choices, including way healthier then what I ordered, for the sides. The sides even came on their own plates. O.o The table was full just from two entrees and the double sides that came with them. Fried okra was good and not heavy with oil. Fried mushrooms way better than Zazby's. Crinkle cut fries were what you would expect from the grocery, which isn't a bad at least. I had to quit half way through and make another meal of it when I got home. Though, anyone with a heartier appetite still won't leave hungry.
Our party of three arrived around 8:00 PM on a Tuesday. We were warmly greeted by staff and owner, who patiently answered all our menu questions at the counter. We ordered a Dungeness Crab Entree (might have been a special), Mahi Salad and Butterfly Shrimp Lite. There were three dining rooms, along with an outdoor patio. We sat inside in the middle room, by the window. The atmosphere was a casual, Caribbean vibe. Our server was courteous and prompt, and dishes were well presented. The owner stopped by our table to check on us, and we let him know that we thoroughly enjoyed all of it! We even took home some leftovers. It was a great value and very pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back!
