We stopped here during our visit to Portland a couple of times. The only thing we tried was their coffee. We had drip coffee and a cappuccino with oat milk. We found their coffee to be on the strong side, while we preferred more on the fruity side, but nevertheless, we enjoyed it. The place is bigger than a usual cafe, plus they have high ceilings with 2 levels of sitting. The high ceiling gives this place a unique vibe. Plus they also have outdoor sitting. Both times we found the staff to be super friendly and could see that they are very popular with locals and would engage in a conversation with them. One time on a weekday morning, there were many people in the queue and they didn’t rush anyone. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Portland to stop by this cafe.
Close to where I am staying with fresh coffee and amazing sandwiches. Service is excellent and always a place to sit. Loved the Just Egg sandwiches with cheese and vegan sausage. Tried the hot chocolate and loved the flavors. Great spot to hang with family or friends.
Some of the *best* pastries in the Pearl AND the Metolius Chai is Heaven! Staff are always lovely and the cafe is a cozy vibe with lots of natural wood accents.
I had an errand to do and decided to get myself a treat. I got a chai latte and a vanilla latte (for a family member). I’m more of a tea person, but tried a bit of the coffee too. I was very pleasantly surprised, because many places do either tea OR coffee well. Both were excellent. The employees are quick, efficient, and friendly. I’m now sad that I don’t live close to this location, but since I live between the other 2 locations I will definitely be a regular customer.
Phenomenal vanilla latte and the staff was wonderful very friendly and everyone seemed to be in a great mood. Hope to return one day very soon.
Really nice atmosphere. Very calm. We tried the latte and dirty chai. Both were ok. The brownie was pretty good. Two levels and has a lot of room if you plan to sit and work.
Ty for the Mediterranean protein bowl being added to the menu whenever it was. I stopped coming at some point bc there was nothing on the menu that wasn't bread. RIP chipotle hash bowl.
Picked up a breakfast burrito w/ bacon and a latte to go. The burrito was about 60% potatoes, 30% peppers and 10% eggs with a hint of the cheese, bacon, and chipotle mayo. The burrito was fairly large and well seasoned, but the potatoes weren't browned well and were a bit mushy. Overall not a bad burrito, but I would have hoped for a bit more of the eggs, bacon, and cheese for the price. The coffee was decent, but on the cooler side. Not a bad breakfast in total.
Good coffee, great atmosphere. Love the bar seating in the window and tables on the balcony level. There is also some food and baked goods. WiFi and outlets and most seats. Street parking available.
I was a bit disappointed with my oatmilk matcha, but the pastries were so good! I got the blueberry lavender cream croissant muffin which was crazy good and my mom got the cherry almond muffin (not in photos) which she loved. Her latte was also so yummy and beautiful, definitely better coffee than matcha! For 2 drinks and 2 pastries it was a bit pricey but what isn’t these days.
