Had a guys night out at this bar yesterday and it was pretty amazing. Their bourbon smash was amazing and their signature smash burger was delicious. This was also the first time us guys went to a bar in the city and we aren’t from around here, so this was a very good experience. The staff was friendly too. Would go to this place again in the future.
The food, music, and location was good. My bartender was very nice and made sure i enjoyed my drink.
The food took forever to come out, and yet it was still cold. The drinks were horrible. I had a margarita and I've never tasted a margarita like THAT. There was barely any liquor. Maybe they used store bought like juice, and that's why it tasted horrible. My friends Moscow mule also tasted horrible. The quesadillas had vegetables in them that weren't cooked. My both friends picked them out.
Such a great bar, the owner is one of the most chill and good vibes people I’ve ever met. He does free wings specials for eagles games and they are AMAZING. Bartenders are lovely, shout out to Joe! Free pool table, cute arcade games, and dope vibes especially for sports watching. Highly recommend!
Great spot for a casual night out. The atmosphere is relaxed, drinks are reasonably priced, and the wings are a standout — crispy, flavorful, and available in a bunch of sauces. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving good bar food and a chill vibe.
Overall, the experience was a peculiar one.. the male Bartender with curly hair was super kind. Very attentive and kept checking up on us. However, his counterpart (lady with locs) was the opposite. She was very rude, snobby and even made a snarky remark when I placed an order for the person I was with as I didn’t place it with initially with mine... yikes. Talk about service lol. She was more focused on flirting with one specific gentleman she was catering to. She stood the majority of the time speaking to him and eating off his plate rather than being attentive to others. However, I did notice I wasn’t the only person she was being rude to so there’s that. I felt bad for the gentleman she was working with because he was really holding the fort down.
I walked into Strangelove on a random Wednesday, not expecting much but to my surprise, the place had a lively, welcoming crowd and great energy. We ordered some wings and a few beers, and everything hit the spot. The wings were bomb crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth coming back for. Our waitress was super friendly and on point the whole time, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back. Strangelove just became one of my go-to spot!
i had been wanting to try strangelove’s for a while because i’m a sauce lover and love that they offer 30 different flavored wings. unfortunately, the experience was subpar. the food was okay — nothing to write home about. my boyfriend was not thrilled about his wings and thought they were too small. the experience and service are the downfalls here. the bartender was great and doing the best that he could during a tuesday happy hour/bingo night. the fact that the restaurant had ONLY one bartender and NO waiters/waitresses when there are many tables and the restaurant has a full menu is mind blowing. we had to wait 10 minutes at the bar to place our order and there were many other people waiting too since the tables were full. there truly needs to be more staffing than one bartender and a food runner at a full service restaurant for the service to be strong.

Strangelove’s has become my favorite spot in the city. The atmosphere is amazing, and me and my friends always enjoy coming here. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are always tasty. Highly recommend the wings and I really love how extensive their vegetarian menu is. Not to mention it’s also locally and black-owned. 10/10 recommend
