Tailored In White - DEN🪡

Like previous reviews, most of the people at Tailored in White are very kind. However, I had a bad experience with their tailoring. My straps needed to be adjusted and the girl who was helping me started to pin them into my dress. The manager came over and told me I could have them sculpted to my back. Sounds great. Unfortunately when I went back, they created a seam in the middle of my see-through strap. It was VERY obvious and the sewing itself did not seem well done. I gave them another chance to fix it but when I went back it looked the same. In addition to that, they had not even hemmed my dress after having it another month. Tailored in White was referred to me by the place I bought my dress and I liked the idea of the micro-adjustments. However, this just means you will have to go back there many many times. My coworker was going to Tailored at White the same time as me and she had a good experience so I know not every experience is like mine.

I had a great experience working with Tailored in White! I went in not really knowing what I wanted to do besides take it in and they made a few different recommendations and my dress turned out even better than I had imagined. I also used the delivery service the day of my wedding and couldn't recommend it enough. Madilyn Marshall showed up with my dress all cleaned up and ironed and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you to all the girls at Tailored in Whtie that helped me along the way!!

Nothing but amazing things to say about this place & all of the people who work there. 2 weeks before my wedding my dress was completed. I decided I wanted to add a custom sleeve (unsure of if there was enough time to do so). They kindly agreed to do it & even helped to pick out a style for me that would be fitting. The night before I was leaving for the wedding the sleeves were close to being done, but not quite. They finished them that night & dropped the dress off at my house at 11pm!!!! These sleeves literally made my dress. I got so many compliments. Thank you to all of you at TIW who helped me & were so kind!! Highly recommend using them, you will not be disappointed!

Fairy Godmothers. All the ladies at Tailored In White Denver are straight out of a fairy tale. Not only did they work magic on my dress, but they were so communicative, transparent, and fair. I had to have last minute alterations done (I got sick and lost a lot of weight) and they took it in in less than 24 hours. Tailored In White was worth every penny. I'll add professional photos when I get them!

It was absolutely amazing working with the people here. Everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. They took excellent care of my dress and made the whole process seem so special. I would definitely recommend this place!

TIW was recommended by a friend and at the end of the day, the alterations they did made the dress fit well. My alterations included bust taken in and hips slightly widened, as well as the addition of the bustle. If this post looks too long- For summary points of why I’m giving 3 stars, scroll to the bottom. Two issues I had during my process that others should be aware of. Firstly, they make you pay for all estimates services up front. This is okay, but if they don’t end up completing one of the estimated services and needing to add another instead, you won’t receive a refund until the very end and will be asked to pay for the additional service when its estimated. Again, not a huge deal, but upon completion of my dress, they had forgotten that they had not indeed completed one of the original estimated services. I had to remind them that I was still owed a significant refund, and was just told “it would be completed”. I didn’t see it processed after 5 business days, so I then had to follow up with them amidst all the other wedding prep chaos to make sure it happened. Only after sending the email reminder did it get done. Not huge, but definitely something to take note of. The second issue was that I was informed all gowns go through a quality check and steam prior to being picked up. Didn’t think much of this until the morning of my wedding when we fully got under the dress to steam it and noticed a 6-7inch area of the lining that had not been restitched following alterations (see photo). Thankfully we had a skilled sewer and some thread and were able to repair it, but there’s no way the dress had a quality inspection or was steamed prior to pick up as was stated- this would’ve been seen immediately if there was. Given the tight fit of the dress, this would’ve been a clearly visible hole in certain lights and in photos. I did email TIW to let them know following the event, and they did apologize, agree no quality check was completed, and offer a complimentary tailoring of any item in my closet. A kind offer, but when the cost of alterations is so high and TIW promotes their attention to detail and high quality with their business model of micro fittings, it fell a bit flat. I didn’t utilize their business to tailor any pair of work pants in my closet, but to tailor a wedding dress that is worn on only one day. In summary- If you decide to use their services, make sure you pay close attention to what services you are and are not receiving to ensure you’re only paying for what alterations are truly done, and look over every last inch of your dress (inside and out, and especially where any seams have been altered) before agreeing to take it back home with you.

My experience at Tailored in White was exceptional. The entire team was not only professional but also incredibly attentive to every detail. Rachel, the manager, made me feel heard and cared for throughout my fittings as well. Highly recommend for anyone seeking expert tailoring for their wedding day!

I had my wedding dress tailored here and everyone is absolutely amazing! I had a very delicate fabric for my gown and the care and attention to detail that everyone took when working on my dress was very obvious!! My dress fit like a glove and looked amazing day of!
