Nothing but amazing things to say about this place & all of the people who work there. 2 weeks before my wedding my dress was completed. I decided I wanted to add a custom sleeve (unsure of if there was enough time to do so). They kindly agreed to do it & even helped to pick out a style for me that would be fitting. The night before I was leaving for the wedding the sleeves were close to being done, but not quite. They finished them that night & dropped the dress off at my house at 11pm!!!! These sleeves literally made my dress. I got so many compliments. Thank you to all of you at TIW who helped me & were so kind!! Highly recommend using them, you will not be disappointed!

I absolutely loved working with the TIW team. Everyone was beyond friendly and professionally. I got to work with Michael the most and he was the sweetest and ensured that I felt absolutely fabulous in my dress and addressed all of my concerns with the fit. I enjoyed the process of micro fitting which is a bit different than your average tailor- they truly work on one thing at a time before it is perfect and then they move into to the next step which can feel like a lot of appointments but it's so worth the look of the dress after it is all said and done.

Tailored in White was amazing!! They are communicative, fantastic at tailoring wedding dresses, and reasonably priced. I didn't have unnecessary appointments and I was thrilled the way my dress turned out. Could not have been happier!

What a wonderful experience. I couldn’t be more grateful for the ladies that operate this establishment. They were kind and knowledgeable and so very helpful with the alterations process. I needed a bustle in short order and they were able to finish my dress in record time and it was done so well! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my special dress for the most important day!

My experience here was terrible and I feel bad even writing it becuase the girl who was helping me by the end of this disaster was so kind. I was eventually offered a partial refund but still wildly overpaid for the services I received. I paid up front, which should have been a red flag. TIW was more expensive than other local shops but I mistakenly associated the price with quality. They advertise “micro fittings” which sounded great at the start of the process but by the end, I realized they were only necessary because they weren’t skilled enough to get things right the first time. I was originally quoted ~7 fittings and wound up needing 15, several of which were for the same fit issues that were never resolved. I asked for a mini train and they used dull scissors to hack it off while I was wearing it - the tailor literally said “This would be faster if I had good scissors”. By the time it was cut, it was definitely shorter but at a super awkward length so I asked them to just chop it off and be done with it. I had multiple fittings to work on the hem because it was wonky even after doing and redoing it. On my wedding day, one of my bridesmaids had to use a sewing kit to fix my straps because they were still way too long and falling off my shoulders. The way they were made also caused them to twist on the fabric grain - several people through the night told me my straps were twisted and tried to help untwist them before I had to awkwardly acknowledge that it was a bad tailor job and couldn’t be fixed. The cups for the dress were poorly tacked in and weren’t put in between the lining for some reason. We had to use that same sewing kit to resew the cup into the dress at one point because it kept spilling out the sides. My wedding day was great but this was the most atrocious experience I possibly could have had. I was a generally very relaxed, go with the flow bride, however the alterations process was so incredibly stressful. Two weeks before the wedding I wasn’t even sure I’d have a dress that fits. I recommend you go absolutely anywhere other than Tailored in White for your wedding alterations.

I had an amazing experience with TIW! I found my dream dress at Grace Loves Lace, and their micro-fittings and attention to detail made my dress exactly what I wanted. I would highly, highly recommend working with this amazing team!

My friend used Tailored in White for her bridal alterations and she looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. Her bustle was easy to do, and from what the bridesmaids told me the whole experience at Tailored in White was fun and seamless for everyone. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship. Her gown had very delicate fabric and she needed a lot of nips and tucks. You would have never known it had been altered, the tailors that work here are THAT good. I’m already married but if I need another bridesmaid dress altered in the future I’ll definitely be going here.

Friendly and personable staff. Prices are pretty steep. Good job with executing vision and alterations. Waited 30+ minutes for scheduled appointment more than once. While waiting 45 minutes for my appointment, another bride came in tears upset that her custom dress was ruined and she had to buy another dress last minute. Very hot and stuffy inside the fitting rooms. Overall good experience for bringing my dress in 3 months before wedding but can understand the mixed reviews.

My experience at TIW was lovely! Caitlin and Melissa are expert sewists. I will update my review with more thoughts after my wedding but the entire team was lovely to work with and IMO their pricing structure makes sense to me, ensuring these professionals are paid fairly for their time. I appreciated the care they all took to come up with unique solutions for my dresses and I’m so happy with how they turned out!! Added photos! The TIW team worked on my ceremony dress and reception dress. Anyone with a large bust knows… going braless feels like an impossible dream. But they made it possible for my wedding day!!!! So grateful for the thoughtful solutions from these ladies and chill environment in the studio.
