Tenzing Momo

This is one of the few places at Pike Place that I frequent. I do not like the people in Pike Place who do not take in consideration other people and block people from walking or walking slow causing a traffic jam for absolutely no reason 😒 I do like this store for what they offer. I have made a rapport with the employees over the year that I have gone there from old employees who no longer work there but make products sold at the store to Raven and Jade. I can say, you get what you put out. PNW is not black woman friendly. I am a black woman born and raised here. I know from experience how people think and treat me as if I am a waste of space. From my experience at this establishment I have felt welcomed and the staff have been very knowledgeable when it comes to herbs and meanings of things. When I have a question, Jade or the other employee has an answer for me and it is up to me to take it or move along. I come here dang near every week if not every other week. They know me by name. Which I appreciate because most places do not care to get to know their customers. Even when I see them outside of the store they acknowledge me and I do the same. I appreciate that. I I like the herb selection as they have dang near everything. I came by to get stuff for my bestie and they were very helpful. Asking if I need help or had any questions. Asking how my day is going and things like that. Very one of few places at Pike Place that care or even acknowledge customers. I've had lots of friendly and fun conversations with strangers here. Even the psychic readers are nice even though I haven't gotten a reading from them. This is one of the few places that I go to get my things. If I can't find what I need at my other places then I can find it here. If I can't find it here then they know a place where I can find what I am looking for. They have never tried to up sale me on anything or tried to get me to purchase something that I didn't want or need. Raven does Reiki and she is amazing. She is actually the first person to help me in a situation that I told her about. That is what sold me honestly. She told me her opinion and her recommendation which was spot on and from there I have been a loyal customer. She did not have to help me in my situation yet she did. I appreciate that.

Hands down my favorite store in the area. They have all the Mystic goods, potions, elixirs, and I love there selection of essential oils. For anyone who is into cook witchy, mystic, supernatural vibes, this is your place. Also the staff is super nice and will answer any of your questions.

A lot to see, they have a small but decent collection of books across the metaphysical spectrum, pretty good size lot of Tarot and Oracle cards, a lot of incense and oils and loose herbs, plus cute random items scattered throughout oh yeah and a small assortment of crystals. Staff was patient, helpful and professional and I highly recommend stopping in. (That's the only reason I went into the market)

Fell in love with this place while visiting Seattle, and I’ve been ordering scents online from them ever since, it’s THAT good. 10/10.

This place has an incredible collection of goodies. I bought the head-ease roll-on oil when I visited Seattle a couple years ago. I was fighting a migraine and nothing helped. I bought the head-ease out of desperation aaaaand it provided some serious relief. Not only that but it smells so incredible and has a way of putting me in a very calm and grounded place. I’ve been trying to make it last not realizing Tenzing Momo had an online store. I’m so excited to be able to use it freely and restock as needed! Seriously good stuff

As soon as I saw the word "momo," I couldn't contain my happiness. My taste buds and belly, the quintessential Nepali duo, were dancing in anticipation. I walked into the store, expecting a culinary nirvana, but what did I get? A "what the heck" moment. My eyes were still under the spell of patchouli and neroli wafting from my impeccably groomed beard.No problem, I thought to myself. Just a minor detour on my momo quest. And then, like a scene from a sitcom, the store worker said, "Hey." I replied, "Hi," as if we were old friends discussing the weather. But no, I was on a mission. My search for momo in Seattle continued, undeterred by my fragrant, well-groomed beard and a friendly "hey" in the air. I have to say, I really like the name of the store.

Such an amazing selection. Their essential oils are the best I've ever smelled and include titles such as Rain and Ocean that actually smell like it sounds! To top it off, all the folks who work there are some of the nicest people I've met. Love this place.

The best!!! My go-to at Pike for incense, herbs, books, oils, and more. My must stop every single time. An absolute gem of a store— makes me feel like I’ve been transported into a little shop in Kathmandu. Thank y’all for your lovely goods!!

Magical experience at Tenzing Momo! This place is a true gem in Seattle. The variety of products—from herbs and essential oils to mystical tools—is outstanding. Everything is thoughtfully curated and high quality. What really makes it special, though, is the staff. Everyone I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They answered all my questions with care and even made thoughtful suggestions based on my needs. It’s rare to find a place that blends deep tradition with such warm, flexible service. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
