Tenzing Momo

A magical fairy hovel. Purchased a perfume oil from here many years ago when we visited Seattle that I get more compliments on than any other scent I own. Its called Marriage. If anyone from the store knows the scent profile of this oil please comment!! ♡♡♡

We can neither confirm nor deny that the fertility tea blend contributed to our 1st child's conception. Although we did name the fetus Momo for funzies. At any rate, this store is truly special. It has spirit behind it. The staff are straight up earth hippies with dreadlocks and piercings and stuff, but super nice and knowledgeable. I like how generous they are with their portions. They've got a crazy amount of tea and it smells potent, like it came from the misty mountains of Endor. I ain't lying the fertility tea actually tasted good.

A little hard to find, but worth the time! Inside Pike Place Market it this cozy shop it filled with incense, oils, crystals, books and magical things. (Follow the giant squid in the main atrium.) Aroma therapy works and just being in this shop changed my entire day for the better. I actually went back later the same day because the good energy and vibe was so noticeable. The staff could not have been nicer and I have told all my friends about it. There is a lot going on in the market, but take a moment to find this place and recharge your soul with exactly what you need. Thank you Tenzing Momo. I'll be back.

Why isn't this place ranked first on Google? It's the best store for finding herbs from around the world! I was looking for specific herbs from Brazil and found even more than I expected. This store deserves to be at the top of the search results!

Tenzing momo (Pike Place Market) has a lot of ayurvedic stuff, holistic tinctures, essential oils and dried herbs for tea that can be combined to suit your needs. Great selection! I really enjoyed this store because it had pleasant, positive energy, friendly customer support and I found exactly what I was looking for!! Highly recommend 🙂

This shop is so magical! My second time ever visiting, I actually had quite the whimsical and mystical encounter with a wonderful older woman who could clearly read my energy and gave me some guidance that I didn’t even realize applied to me at the time but just kept it noted. Sometimes I wish I had gotten her contact information, but I trust what is meant to be will be. Wherever she is, I wish her nothing but happiness, abundance, and peace. P.S. the oils and supplements at this shop are PHENOMENAL! I still take the serene mushroom mixture supplement that I got and it truly promotes peace. I also use the oils I got from here weekly and especially in baths! Highly recommend 🧙‍♀️🔮✨

I have been buying fragrance oils and incense from Tenzing Momo for almost 30 years, and the quality is unparalleled. With my last order, I included an inquiry about an oil I used when I first lived in Seattle, and, although they no longer have a source for this scent, they responded with a personal note to let me know. Thanks for the great customer service!

I used to come often for dried red raspberry leaf, a rather ubiquitous plant. I have encountered wonderful employees over the years. They have been helpful, warm and welcoming. Based on past experiences, I made a special trip to find thimbleberry leaf and instead left with incense I could buy online and a dismissive response from the employee. Friendly reminder, not everyone has the physical ability to forage for themselves.

I have been coming to this shop for several decades. I love their selection of essential oils, incense, and other exotic trinkets. It's a 'must visit' when I'm at Pike Place. The staff is another matter entirely. They are rude and will ignore you until you awkwardly have to ask for their attention to check you out or answer a question. They sit back there joking around together being too cool for the customers. But I get it. They see a lot of faces and if that's the way they want to come across to paying customers, that's their business. I enjoy the store, not necessarily the people in it.
