Terrible, All I want is my transcript from my closed school, they refuse to respond to emails. What idiot entity allowed a loan company to store my college transcripts???…the State of Texas should have our transcripts, not some random predatory lending company masking themselves as a self proclaimed “coordinating board”. I will be filing a BBB complaint and contacting someone in Austin. You cannot hold my transcript hostage!!! My college had nothing to do with this company and I want my transcript so I can work!!!
What should be a relatively simple task of paying your monthly loans each month is more like jumping through hurdles. Each month I dread not the payment, but the experience of going through their site. "Server Application Error" What a joke! Can't even pay my loans when I want to. No, I have to wait for their servers to work in order to make a payment. For that reason, I have been intentional to pay this loan first above my other loans. Final payment in 2-3 months -- good riddance!
Representatives are super helpful. However, the system for payments need updating. It's been a process. But i will say, the best way to get things done is to find out who your representative is and stay in direct contact with them via email or phone if questions do arise. They are more than glad to help. Someone helped me understand their system a lot better and how to get the payments processed in a timely manor.
It's almost as if they are still in the 1990s. You make a payment and they don't even send you an email confirmation even though for whatever reason, they are still asking for your email address. Customer service is terrible - anyone who has worked at customer service here should not be hired anywhere else because if you are looking for decent customer service, this ain't it.
Be ready to wait on hold for a decade to speak with anyone. Do not take a loan from this lender at all, so many problems and even when COVID hit; their answer for relief was to use forebearance and accrue more interest.
DO NOT borrow money from THECB!!! The people who work here are horrible to deal with. They are heartless, unreasonable, and cruel. They threatened to take legal action against me. One of the men who works at THECB told me and I quote, “You clearly don’t understand the definition of that word.” He belittled me and my intelligence. STAY AWAY.!! I don’t care what they tell you DO NOT BORROW FROM THEM.!!!!! RUN RUN RUN!!!!!!!
WHAT EXACTLY DO They Do?!! filed a complaint and received a long list of what they cannot help with. The response showed that my complaint wasn't even read neither were the documents I submitted looked at
No one has ever answered my phone call. I have never verbally spoken with anyone here. Why can't there just be a phone line where I can make my payment, just like my credit cards? Why do I have to do all this shennanigans to make my monthly payment??? Makes no sense.
Absolutely the worst. I was paying back my loan at $225 a month and they SUED me for not paying $500 a month! I had to hire a lawyer and got even more into debt. I've literally paid my loan off three times what I owed. Thankfully I paid them off this year completely but I would NEVER recommend them. They sent harassing letters to my ill father and stressed him out because he was the co-signer even though I was the one making the payments just fine. I would never recommend them to anyone. Ruined my credit for no reason. Horrible and disappointing.
They make it so hard for you to make a monthly payment on your loans. Absolutely ridiculous. Either the website messes up or you call and are given the wrong information. Every person I speak with gives me different information. My emails are never read. The website itself is a dinosaur. It shouldn’t be this hard to make a payment and keep my account in good standing. I am now having to check to make sure I am not reported to the credit agencies because they screwed up!!!!!! And I can’t even speak with a supervisor or manager there. They tell me nothing can be done.
