Good thrift store. Bigger than other stores and had more clothes and furniture. The stuff they have is better quality than other salvation army stores. Friendly staff and good prices.

It was Amazing. I really liked the cleanliness of the whole store so organized really good bargains on furniture...the clothes well a little to expensive for my taste. For those prices I'll stick to Ross department store same prices and new....but I still liked the salvation store

This is normally an outstanding store to visit on Wednesdays. During the week, prices are generally overpriced for a thrift store, but on half-off Wednesdays the prices finally feel more in line with what a thrift store should be. Because of that, I’ve been a happy, loyal customer here for many years. Today, however, was a very different experience. I found a shirt that did not have a price tag on it. In the past, this has never been an issue — staff would simply assign a reasonable price. Today, the store refused to sell it to me at all. I even made what I believe was an extremely fair and logical offer. The highest-priced shirt on the floor was $12.99. I explained that if the tag hadn’t fallen off — whether due to a customer or an employee not stapling it properly — the shirt would almost certainly have been priced at $12.99. I wasn’t trying to lowball anyone. I asked the manager not to let a missing piece of paper prevent the store from receiving the same amount of money it would have received if the tag had still been attached. I was offering $12.99, which is already a lot for a used shirt, and at half off, still a fair price. My intention was to support the store’s mission and cause. While the manager was polite, she refused the sale. This is an extraordinarily poor rule for a business that receives its merchandise at little to no cost. I was actively trying to support your mission, and instead you chose a rigid rule over common sense and revenue. Managers should be trusted with discretion — that’s why you hire them and pay them for their judgment and integrity. The fact that the store didn’t want to take my money was incredibly disappointing. This shirt absolutely should have been sold for $12.99 (half off). I truly believe that if the founder, Ms. Booth, had been there, she would have said, “Take the man’s money — we have bills to pay and a mission to support.” Very disappointed. Please reconsider this rule.

Out of the 3 Salvation Army thrift stores in San Antonio, this one had the best reviews so I went to check it out. I liked how the decor items were displayed by color. I saw a few things I wanted to buy, but I felt they were overpriced. The clothing section is HUGE with clearly marked areas. The furniture selection was bigger than you'll see at Goodwill with decently good quality pieces. This store was good, but doesn't have the kinda items and pricing I look for in a thrift store.

Don't recommend.... Pricing is much higher than most and the prices on items, like books, are very subjective. One person quoted 5.99 for a so called coffee table, then "The Manager", quoted 9.99. A huge difference. Also, they will not give a military discount unless you tell them before they start ringing items up. So essentially they make it difficult on the patrions. I definitely recommend going to Goodwill.

The store was somewhat organized. The furniture was decent but clothing was not organized and had a smell to it. Unlike other places that have been viisted by my wife and I, very disappointed with what we saw overall.

Nice clean store. You can always find good deals on good items. I got a London Fog coat for $25 today and it showed no wear and tear. Another good deal.
