Uptown Cheapskate Arlington

I go here often. While I love the selection and prices, customer service says a lot. The girls are young so I don't take it personal. I've met one nice employee there and I wish I knew her name. She was kind to my toddler and gave her some free nail polish. Most employees never speak a word to me and hardly make eye contact. I do love getting my jeans here and I usually find them for $7.99! They also sell new products that are cute, but usually too expensive for my liking. Pros: great prices New and like new items Men's selection Clean for the most part Clean dressing rooms Takes donations Cons: Staff is not personable nor the friendliest Only gives 30% of items resale Only takes seasonal items Takes donations sometimes No carts if you bring kids Only 1 chair for a sitting area Shoes are high priced

I can't recommend this store enough!! I'm a plus sized girl and I usually struggle to find fashionable outfits in physical stores. Most of my clothes are bought online. This is my new go-to place forever! The atmosphere is so inviting, and their selection is a 10/10.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful customer service experience at Uptown Cheapskate. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally friendly. I was thrilled to find a pair of Lululemon pants at a fraction of their usual retail price. This has made me a loyal customer for all my future clothing needs. I also appreciate their rewards program, which adds an extra layer of value to my shopping experience. If Plato’s Closet is akin to Walmart, then Uptown Cheapskate is surely the Whole Foods of thrift shopping—offering a superior overall customer service experience. I highly recommend it!

First thrift store I've been in that didn't just feel like a goodwill. Great collection of vintage to modern styles all seem fairly brand-new, someone it seems like it traveled from a store from the 60s just to rest in this shop and still be fresh. I SUPER dig it. Went with my mom and daughter, had fun lookin around at everything all of us found plenty of cool stuff in there so it spans at least 3 generations🤣. Very cool, will definitely be back.

I can’t help but laugh at my experience I had. I brought in a few dresses, heels and sneakers today and might I add some of the items still had tags on them which was pointless to just let them sit in the closet when others are in need. I’m not in the store for 10 minutes and they announce my name over the intercom and one of the ladies stated to me they couldn’t sell any of my belongings! All of the items were in perfect condition…..I would strongly consider just selling your own items on the Marketplace or Mercari. This place is a complete rip off.

The store was clean and very well organized. The prices are very reasonable and the clothes are in great condition. The staff was warm, welcoming, professional and polite. Check them out!

So I am a thrift queen and this store is everything. Today they had marked down denim from 5-10 dollars. I’m talking Page, Frame,BDG. Like this store has an amazing collection of cute Athlesuire wear , shoes , cowboy boots . They are ON POINT. Cool thing if it’s your Bday month you get 15% the entire month by showing ID . I love this store and all the associates , next time I will get names . #newfavespot .

I went in today and sweetest girls were working, I had to get all their names. Nicki , Alexis, Olivia, and Susie. All so sweet. They were super packed and Susie kept reassuring everyone that she’s sorry about the wait and that they’ll try to get them out as fast as they could. Which they did. Olivia helped me when trying to find a dress she was asking what the occasion was and stuff. Love her, so sweet. I just kept thinking this is the fastest, most nicest uptown I’ve been too. They thought a 35 minute wait was long. I was like are you kidding! That’s amazing timing compared to the others I’ve been to. If you ever wanna buy or sell, come to this uptown if you want to be taken care of!

I always come here if not first then second to sell , they try their best to give you good cash for your clothing but unfortunately they can’t always buy everything . their customer service is contagious as soon as you hit the door lol they’re all very friendly and welcoming ..
