You shouldn't overlook this place if you want name brands but you don't mind if some might be worn before. There's lots of brand new stuff with tags as well for a fraction of the original price. Clothes, shoes, accessories, great help and great service from the people in charge too.

In my opinion this has always been the BEST thrift store to come to in the 210 area! Seriously the best quality items and the best customer service!

Sold items with them on Thursday, I wasn’t able to pick up my box on Friday because I was moving so I called and asked them if it’s possible for them to hold onto the stuff they didn’t buy so I can pick it up when I’m back in town on Saturday . They said they’d hold the items, no problem. However when I got there I was told they donated them by accident. That sucked and kind of defeats the purpose of calling ahead to confirm they would be held. :/

I had such a great experience at Uptown Cheapskate! Both the buying and selling process were super easy and honestly way better than I expected. When I brought in clothes to sell, the staff was friendly, quick, and really fair with what they selected. I appreciated that they took the time to explain how everything works and didn’t just rush me through it. It felt organized and professional, which made the whole process stress-free. Shopping there was just as good! The store was clean, well-organized, and full of really cute, trendy pieces at amazing prices. I found several items that looked brand new for a fraction of what I’d pay retail.

Absolutely Wonderful Resale Store! First time visiting the San Antonio store and impressed by the staff, store manager, and store organization. After 30+ years as a corporate retail fashion buyer, this store shows A+++ customer service the moment you walk in the door. Store Manager, Alena (I think) was so helpful when I needed assistance. All the staff is friendly and helpful. And the store is so well organized, clothes by size, and even colorized on the racks. Great store!!!

This place is a stylish gal on a budgets dream. It has all my favorite brands at a fraction of the price. Everything is nice and neat and lightly used so You don’t get that secondhand store vibe it’s more of a vintage boutique, feel. I wish they had a bigger selection for the men, but no big deal they have plenty of Items For Women. gym shark, Lululemon, Michael Kors you name it! Oh, and if you have your own bag, they give you an additional discount and I love that because I always carry my reusable tote bags in my car. The staff are really sweet and helpful. This is my best kept secret.
