The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked with a nice crisp. The mushroom burger, while tasty, had a mushy consistency and was falling apart as soon as I picked it up. The special sauce was a fantastic compliment to the fries and the burger.
Whether in Seattle or Portland, Veggie Grill offers a consistent experience. This vegan fast food but with a twist. Not just Beyond Burgers, but a plethora of options including bowls, salads, and desserts. One fantastic and aggravating thing is that they introduce new offerings on a consistent basis. For a very short time they had a southern plate, then a Korean dish, and a Filipino Adobo…I’ve been waiting for them to bring back that adobo for ages, sigh. On my recent trip I had the Katsu sliders with pickled veggies, I would highly recommend it….but better go soon because it’s for limited time. 😋
Always delicious, fast, reasonably priced vegan food at Veggie Grill. VG has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The items we tried today are seasonal but they were very good if you can get them! The vegan tuna melt and vegan turkey pot pie were both really good. The vegan tuna melt was much better than any "real" tuna melt I've ever had! If it's your first time I recommend the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin, also the sweet potato fries are a must!! Other good stuff: salads and healthy bowls, also yummy wings and nachos, the chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake!! I wish they would bring back the classic VG menu items like the All American Stack!!
Was looking for something healthy and vegan after a flight into Portland. So glad we choose this place. I had what I think was called the 7 layer bowl. It was so good and definitely hit the spot. Will most likely go back before I leave.
Love the tacos with cauliflower, Steak, Tejano Texmex and Truffle Mac and cheese! Really like the flavor of cheese and truffle! I like Next Level burger as well in a different branch.
Great place for some fast vegan food! Great concept and mission. Foods came out quick but not amazing quality, I ordered a county bowl and felt some ingredients weren't as fresh as they could've been. Friend ordered burger and it was great!
The fries are super tasty - you should try them! The sauces and the dressing for the salad aren’t good. The need a makeover. The service could have a bit more drive. But I‘m happy about the restaurant and that I could order everything and knew it was vegetarian.
I'm so glad we discovered this plant based restaurant on a recent visit to Portland. The menu had so much variety, it was difficult to narrow down what to get. With help from the order taker when asked what he likes and what are the most popular dishes, I made some decisions! I love mushrooms so I got the smoked mushroom tacos and I love Mac n cheeze so I got the Truffle Mac 'n Cheeze. Neither of them disappointed! In fact, I've already recommended it to a friend who will visit next month. All 3 oft friends who went with me were very pleased with the food, service and overall vibe, thanking me many times for finding it. One of my friends was extremely impressed and grateful for their accomodations with her additional allergies.
Veggie girl is hearty and if you are a fan of Next Level Burger you certainly will be a fan of veggie grill. I wouldn't necessarily call it a healthy vegan food option, though the salads do offer you healthier options. I, on this visit, ordered a quesadilla which was packed with cheese and Beyond meat steak. It came with a side of lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole and Mild hot sauce. Very savory, rich and flavorful.
I ordered some tacos and chocolate chip cookies. I asked for soft cookies and I got the most deliciously soft, melt in your mouth, chocolate chip cookies 😭😭😭 don't even get me started on my tacos!!! They were loaded with toppings and packed with flavor. Thank you so much. My pictures don't even do the food justice.
