DO NOT ORDER THE TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE. It tasted like pasta water. The roasted carrots and broccoli were good. The beyond steak was seasoned well, but I couldn’t get over the texture. I may return to try their smoothies and craft drinks!
We love this spot whenever in Portland, serving a variety of vegan dishes, fresh and tasty. It was so convenient, walking distance to our hotel. We had the mushroom burger w/no cheese and their golden fries were so crisp and yummy. We’ve tried other menu items like the VG classic and the Sonoran bowl which were all delicious. VG never disappoint. Highly recommend giving them a try. Friendly staff and great service. This is a busy location so there’s a slight delay at times. The only minor downer is the parking situation but if you can find a street parking it’s totally worth it!
Nice place and located next to 2 famous hotels. First time coming in here as a tourist. Food is good, especially for vegans who will enjoy what they offer here. The store is clean and spacious, which is good, and the server was also nice to speak with. I want to take a leap of faith by coming back at least once before leaving Portland Oregon.
First time in Portland looked up a salad spot and ran into this gem of a place!! Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding everyone was very kind. We recommend what we had the Sonoran bowl, the all hail kale with tempeh and the lentil soup!
Food was delicious, staff was helpful, and the dining area was clean. We had their special for the burger week: bbq smokey mountain. It was very flavorful but quite spicy. Chicken tender buffalo style was also delicious and spicy. The tender is rather soft than chewy.
Really great food with whole ingredients. A bit pricey, but it’s common nowadays. I’m willing shell out for better ingredients and consistency, which Veggie Grill has. Also, shout out specifically to the person with the dreads with partial pink strands - having been here a few times, this employee never wavers, always greets incoming customers, always gracious and just on top of the outgoing foods. Any question or request is always met with politeness and a smile. This is a busy place for lunch and these folks always hustle. Thank you!
Overall, a great vegetarian restaurant with a variety of different types of foods to choose from. Service was good and timely. I will definitely eat here again and try some of the other menu items. I thought my burger was slightly on the smaller side for the $15 I paid for, but very delicious.
Veggie Grill is a perennial favorite and it never disappoints! It doesn’t matter what you order, you know it’s going to be amazing! They also make a rotation of homemade lemonades in house That are simply amazing! Pictures show the B-Wing salad, mozzarella sticks with marinara dipping sauce and their crispy chicken sandwich!
We were walking downtown, saw this place, and gave it a shot. The location is Excellent. Clean, lots of comfortable seating, Big windows. The gentleman who took our order was friendly, knew the menu well, and was willing to chat. We got a steakhouse burger, a Santa fe chickn wrap, and a larger order of fries. The food was cooked to Perfection, the burger was on a fresh bakery bun, the Fries were Amazing. All in all, we loved it, and we plan on coming back.
Love this place they have some of the best vegan food with flavor. I wanted some tacos it was buy one get one free day! Also got a chili bowl it was awesome tasting. And a Belgian chocolate cake. Yummy.
