We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Staff was helpful in offering suggestions for our first meal there. Ultimately, we went with the Mac burger and a Sante fe. Both. Were. Delicious. 🤤 With that being said, the Mac burger is a dish I've had and loved even before being vegan. So when I got my burger and there were MAYBE 5 noodles on there, I was a little surprised. I would have ordered a side of Mac n cheese had I known there wouldn't be any on my burger. Luckily, the ranch and BBQ sauce really made up for it and the burger was still very tasty. We would definitely go back. I would likely just inquire about the portion size of mac on the burger and potentially buy a side of it.
OMG...to all the Vegans in Oregon this is worth the trip! I drove from Salem just to get some Veggie Grill, and it doesn't disappoint! It is the most comforting vegan food I have ever had! They also keep updating their menu, each time I have went there is something even better here! Also their staff is always friendly, and makes us feel welcomed!
The Veggie Grill is always a good vegan choice with a lot of variety. I ordered the Smokey Mushroom Asada Bowl from their Mas Veggies Taquiera menu. It was ok, but I prefer the chickpea curry bowl that I've ordered in the past. For a less healthy choice, the VG Classic Burger w/sweet potato fries is excellent! Service is very good!
Very tasty stuff. Had to change the reviews from the 5 stars to 2, after a bad experience. Does the bowl on the left look "large" to you? A male employee brazenly lying and the manager not doing anything to correct the mistake. The quantity of soup is not that important but lying and the general attitude is.
Awesome 100% vegan spot in the pearl district. Staff were extremely friendly and even gave me a free personal carrot cake since it was my first time in the restaurant! Food was absolutely killer and would not hesitate to go back or order this stuff for delivery at a drop of a hat. Matcha horchata was unique and really refreshing. Definitely check this place out!

Veggie Grill - downtown Portland, OR We're in Pdx for a few days. Sooo many places to try, new and old, so little time lol. While we can eat Veggie Grill in Seattle, tonight we opted for convenience as Veggie Grill is within a few minutes walk of our hotel and I've been jonesing their Pan Seared Salmon protein plate ever since it was first announced but haven't had the chance to stop by Veggie Grill locally. We got a bit carried away with ordering too much, which isn't unusual when going to Veggie Grill lol, it almost seems sacrilegious to go there and not order some variety of Mac and Cheese 🤷😅. Everything was great, VG never disappoints 🙌. The cheese bites were great, haven't had them before .. pretty sure it's a relatively new offering. The center was soft and cheesy and nicely balanced with the dipping sauce. The Seared Salmon had a great flavor. If I'm being honest, I didn't find it to be very reminiscent of salmon, there was no flakiness associated with salmon, this dish had more of a vegan spam feel/ texture. This was my observation but it's not intended as a critique, just my objective take. The dish was really good, very flavorful, the color was reminiscent of salmon and there was a subtle but noticeably pleasant seafood-y after-taste on the back end. I have to mention how friendly and personable everyone was. We've always found staff at VG and Next Level to be friendly but everyone tonight just seemed really genuinely approachable and friendly. Kelsey took our order for us and chatting with her really felt like we were in a place where we belonged, a vegan home away from home, an extra touch that was really appreciated. So my recommendation is ... come for the food, come for the camaraderie, and then stay way too long because you're gingerly nursing a food coma from ordering and eating too much 🤭🤤.
Had veggie grill delivered to our hotel and it was really good! I got the nachos and they were huge and fully loaded! The whole menu was vegan which was awesome. My friend got the Buffalo chicken wrap and fries and she really liked them too. I really recommend this place if you are vegan!
I love veggie grill so i was really happy to find one while i was in portland on vacation. they never disappoint. i got the blue cheese burger and 'fish' tacos and they were delightful.
So much veggie options! My wife and I are from out of town and we're big fans of vegan dishes. This place does not disappoint! I ordered the Koreatown Tacos and my wife ordered a Santa Fe Crispy Chickin' sandwich, both items were absolutely delicious.
