My family, friends, and I visited Vine Street Brewing one evening and had a wonderful time reconnecting over excellent brews. We tasted pretty much everything they had on tap and ended up taking a few selections home with us. The brewery itself is relaxed and spread over two floors with local artists displaying their works throughout the space. They definitely have a good thing going here - check it out!
Great space, great beer, great service from Courtney. If I had one gripe it’s that I always buy a shirt from every brewery I enjoy, but there were no shirts available on premise. Otherwise, a wonderful experience. Cheers!
ASK FOR THE BABY BEER!!!! Look… I’m not a beer drinker and I’ve always felt that beer was for the guys! I call myself “stopping by” just to check the place out! A few baby beers later I was not only educated on beer, I even found some that I really like. Plus there’s a chicken spot next door! HELLO CHICKEN & BEER!!! The staff was super friendly they even provided me a smaller glass, hence the name “baby beer”. Thank you to the owner and bartender that made me feel like a lady… even while I drank beer!

The main reason I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars and not five out of five is because for Brewery it doesn't have a lot of beer choices. Love the location, the building was extremely cool, and the vibe of the place was awesome. I just wish they had more choices. There's a really cool historic Castle across the street that you can go explore. The building itself is really cool and it looks like there might be a party space you can rent. And there's also fun art to look at. I would probably go back again but just for one beer. They also had games you could play while you were there. I think it's a really cool function for that building.
Love this place. I come here every once in a while to use my PubPass. Beer is wonderful and excellent service.
If I could give this 6 stars I would. The staff are great. Beers are fantastic! History of the building is remarkable. I always support local places and they do it right at Vine. Keep up the great work! I look forward to frequent this place on a regular basis.
The beer, both lagers and ales, is remarkably good - some of the best in the city. The Jazzman (dark larger) stands out for its intense malty, coffee, roast flavor, paired somehow with a lightness that leaves you wanting more. The building is historic, tasteful, versatile and inviting. If you haven’t been and enjoy beer, come!
I loved the vibe and the experience was great. The chicken and fried okra were good. I don't drink beer. But seeing people walk out with flights made me want to try them. A great hang out and enjoy food, drinks, conversation, and apparently music some evenings. I'll be back.
Got wild on a Sunday and decided to try every beer on Vine St.’s menu via flight- HIT the spot. Super impressed with the flavor variations- every beer was smooth and delicious. My favorite thing about Vine St. (other than the cultural ownership, the brewmasters abilities, and it being located next my favorite castle in KC) are the DESIGNS on their cans- ever changing and always catching my eye. Vine St. is proving to be a place of craftsmanship that is constantly evolving... with musicians, brews, events, graphically- super unique place and I appreciate it. Also had the fried chicken and it was thick n juicy 10/10. Thank you Vine St. for capturing the culture and sharing with the rest of us!
