Quiet early morning hangout serving crafted morning sips with spacious seating. Delicious pasty served with real forks/spoons on everyday china lends elegance to the experience!
They have the perfect outdoor space for a breakup... just saying. But if that's not what you're looking for, they also have fantastic tea (green, black, hot, iced) and the pastries are delicious too. There's ample workspace and it's pleasantly quiet any time of day, so whether you're looking to stop in on your afternoon walk and grab an iced tea for your walking meditation, or you're hoping to warm up that cold, dead heart of yours with a cup of tea on a winter morning... you'll find the kindest staff at a Portland coffee shop here.
Good open space with plenty of seating. They serve Coava coffee with plenty of street parking nearby. Great alternative to other overfilled coffee shops.
amazing workspace with good food! i came in today to get some school work done for a few hours, and got a scone and some hot chocolate (not a coffee person). lots of outlets, plenty of space to work, and it was a super warm and inviting environment. i didn’t get to check out the soundproof booths but they look super nice as well. i am not usually a good studier and i procrastinate, but this place made it easy for me. i’ll definitely be coming back here a lot to study!
This space will always have a special place in my heart. My name is Daniel and I'm the founder of a social club called the Portland Digital Dabblers. During the pandemic, it was a struggle to find businesses that would be willing to host larger study groups but the wonderful baristas at the Eastside Coffee Bar and Workspace were always accommodating of our group. As we slowly grew in popularity and size inevitably we just outgrew the space but this review has been looong overdue. Because of their help we were able to build a wonderful community for neurodivergent folks like myself who were seeking a safe space to collaborate on digital art projects and continuing education for adults. We owe our survival to ECBW and will FOREVER be grateful. Plus it's a non-profit how cool! 10/10 if you're starting a Meetup group this is an excellent place to start.
Very creamy, delicious oat milk cortado, a handful of comfy chairs and lots of tables, and most unusually, two soundproof booths for working! I will be back.
This place is so great. Beautiful, welcoming interior, the friendliest baristas, and great coffee. Great outdoor seating on a sunny day as well. They are doing an amazing job navigating the ever-changing requirements for the pandemic - everything is very clean and sanitary and I'm so grateful that there is still somewhere to sit inside and get some work done. Highly recommend Eastside!
I really love this spot but almost never come here because they only have coffee (and pastries), always out of bagels and never any other food. edit: they've gotten better about stocking bagels and now sometimes have sandwiches, hurray! Changing to 5 stars.
Nice space with 3 private work booths to take meetings. There are a number of available working outlets on walls and floor by seating. Wifi connection isn't the strongest (nor secure) but passable. Good place to crank some work out if the above fits your needs.
Amazing place to work or place to grab coffee with friends. They have private booths if you need to take a call. Fair amount of power cord plug ins. Staff is friendly and warm. The coffee is high quality and they have a variety of tea options. Highly recommend!
