I had a great experience at this Anthropologie store. Every member of the staff I talked to was very nice and helped me choose the special outfit I was looking for!
Had the most amazing experience in the gown section dressing room. The older woman and blonde hair woman in the dressing room were incredibly helpful in getting different sizes as well suggesting other gowns for my event. They were very kind in steaming my dress and helping me bag it quickly!
Decided on a beautiful wedding gown here. The girl that helped me was very nice but I asked to size down on the dress because I was planning on losing weight. She said I should stay with the size I tried on. I asked her if she was sure she said yes. After I left, I came back to ask for the bathroom and caught her coworkers making fun of the way I was talking. I ignored it because I’m not about to let a petty b ruin my day. Anyways, the main point is that when I tried on my dress after altering the length it no longer fit me. I lost the weight like I said I was doing and it no longer fit me. My dress was sliding down during the wedding I was SO DISAPPOINTED AND ANGRY!!I spent $2000 on that dress and all because some girl wouldn’t take my recommendation. Never coming here again.
I loooove this new Anthro, their selection is great and the layout is really unique. Can't wait to go back!
The store itself is beautiful, and the selection of items is great. The staff was friendly in the fitting room, but unfortunately, the cashier on the basement floor was less than welcoming. While the transaction was quick and smooth, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was an inconvenience to her. I’d definitely return for the store and the products, but I might consider shopping at a different Anthropologie location where the staff is a bit more friendly.
Rachel and all of the staff were so kind when helping me pick my wedding dress. I did not have an appointment and they gave me an open spot and were so unbelievably kind. Rachel helped me find my dream wedding dress and was the sweetest person. I was very nervous about trying wedding dresses on in person but Rachel made it the most fun and lighthearted experience. All of the staff were so helpful and sweet I am so unbelievably happy I stopped in to look and try on dresses. If you want a fun, sweet and caring wedding dress try on experience, I 10000% recommend this location.
Love Anthropologie, and I had a great experience at this store! The staff was super friendly, kind and helpful, I left with a smile. Thank you!!!!
I went to this store under the pretense advertised online that walk-ins were welcome for bridal dresses. Whoever typed this must have been as daft and useless as the staff I was "helped" by. This staff member informed me that her name was Caitlyn (sp.? she herself probably doesn't even know) which was the only correct thing she said the entire time. I told her I was looking for simple dresses for a beach wedding but was denied the ability to try on any such dresses as "a team" was needed for this, and this team was "unavailable". I understand that gowns require additional support to try on, however I was looking to try on maxi white satin dresses with minimal train and details. This "Caitlyn" kept pushing back on the basis that the staff were all busy. I was happy to accept this as an answer, until I found "appropriate" dresses to try on, was sassed by staff members other than Caitlyn about the location of said dressing room, and then was directed to the forbidden-by-Caitlyn gown section where the dressing room ultimately was located. I then saw Caitlyn rush to another sales associate, not to provide me or another customer with help, but to complain about ME sassing HER. Huh? Is everything this girl say and do a lie? I only had two dresses to try on, but I see that the number of items to try on directly corresponds to the number of interruptions I had to experience, as the Queen Stylist "Jeanine" had to check in with me twice about a pair of pants for another customer who she lost. This trying ordeal took all seven (7!) staff members who were on the floor, none of whom appeared to be authorized stylists who could complete the required supervision of my alleged "gown" try-on. Only after I completed trying on my dresses did the other customer receive the pants she requested. After this experience I felt glad that I wasn't able to try on long white satin dresses because if they can't handle me trying on $300-400 dresses, then why would I bother to try to buy a $1500+ dress from this location. As a loyal anthropologie customer of many years, I am very disappointed in this experience and though I loved one of the dresses I tried on, I refused to entertain the idea of purchasing from this location or establishment. This experience would have been better if not for the gross misallocation of staff and flagrant lack of professionalism that anthropologie should be embarrassed to display in their New York City stores. The fact that it was allowed to occur at all makes me utterly confident in my decision to purchase my wedding dress elsewhere, and I would urge others to do the same.
Walked in and security decides to racial profile me and was about to follow me- how do I know well after i passed him and when I turned around he quickly turned around as he was about to follow me . Btw I was there to return an online order. Not the first time this happened at Anthropologie. This is the reason I don’t shop in stores and now will delete the app from my phone. And oh you bet I said something to the security guard as I left the store. I will call out peoples unconscious bias and racism.
I come here probably once a week on my lunch break and they have an incredible sale section in the basement. I will say staff isn't super attentive at this location but if you're shopping for home decor vs clothing it doesn't really matter.
