In terms of presentation and skill, Bathtub Gin's staff are best-in-class. Their passion for the craft is evident in every carefully mixed and presented cocktail. It's a masterclass in balance, complexity, and adventurous mixology. The venue itself is a cozy and intimate setting in Seattle's bustling Belltown neighborhood offering the perfect backdrop for enjoying these exquisitely crafted cocktails. It's a hidden gem that offers a tranquil respite from the city's fast-paced rhythm, inviting patrons to take a moment to relax, converse, and truly savor the complex flavors of their drinks.
The alley was a little sketchy in the dark...a homeless man was waiting near the door to ask for cash & as we left another was peeing near us & clearly very high, but that’s Seattle for you haha. The interior is so cozy & you feel like you’re in a secret bar which is awesome! Great place for a tourist to check out or for a locals hangout. Drinks were priced well, tasted great, & well worth the money. Definitely will go back!
Love the space, love the selection and enjoyed the cocktails but unfortunately all that was a little overshadowed by the service. At first things were great. Server was friendly with lots of helpful insight and suggestions. First round was great and we decided to try something new. Our server made a suggestion to which I said I wasn’t feeling that option, and instead was looking for something else. She said “ok” and left. Later returned with the cocktail I said no to, and another. The cocktail I don’t want wasn’t great, the one I did ask for wasn’t that great either but just powered through. Things got busy and we tried multiple times to stop her before finally letting her know of the mistake. Not sure if she took offense to the miscommunication but after that she seemed to brush us off. I’m sure it was likely an off night so need to give it another chance.
Jeremy was so engaging that they are now my Seattle Favorite Bartender! The drinks were both delightful as to have wafted me off to another world momentarily.
Kewl place! Half the experience is trying to find it! Down a alley and then in a basement! They do have a top floor as well. It seems very hush hush probation Era atmosphere. Drinks aren't cheap but very good. Neat place to take a date
A quaint space full of personality. From the staff to the guests, it was nothing but friendly and good vibes all around. Pretty cool menu of cocktails, but I found it best to just let the bartender what type of liquor I like and if he could make me cocktail using that, and he did not disappoint. This is a must visit spot!
Came here for a drink after dinner. Both of ours were wonderful and they have an interesting menu of craft cocktails to try for next time. The interior is definitely reminiscent of a speakeasy, very cozy and dim but pretty.
Interesting location in an alley! Once inside, magical. Recommend this place, if you can find it! Great selection of everything alcohol and very knowledgable staff.
Came in on a Monday night and had the rail to enjoy with good company from other patrons, the staff, and bartender. The bartender was amiable and super knowledgeable about spirits and made us feel more than welcome. Had an absolutely killer cocktail and listened to about 20 killer tracks on a custom playlist from the bartender and this gal knows music. Yummy old fashions and great tunes - good times! Would 100% recommend - I will be returning.
Went here tonight on a Monday night and had a great time. Had a little bit of a wait outside with just one group ahead of us. Tables are first come first serve. There is no waiting list. You must wait outside the door in line to get in. There is maybe seating for 8-10 small parties total inside if I counted correctly. We waited about 20 minutes to get in. They did come outside to take our drink order and bring us drinks outside which was really cool and I especially loved that the server even came out to check how our drinks were after we got them outside. The ambiance inside is dark and music playing in the background but quiet enough that you can hold a conversation with the other people in your party. Overall great experience and will go back if I find myself in Seattle again.
