This place was an absolute life saver! The gentleman who helped me came quickly and was very courteous— made me a new key fob right at my car — if I could give them 10 stars I would!
I needed a dimple key cut and searched the web and found this place. Their site says they cut dimple keys so I took a drive there. When I got there the guy was pretty chill he went to the back and after a couple of minutes later comes back and says they don't cut dimple keys. He did try to refer me to another locksmith but they did not cut that key also.
After I lost my MASTER Car key, I went to this location, and I specifically asked for a MASTER key replacement, the gentleman asked to wait for 15 to 20 mnts, before the 20 mnts elapsed he came back with the key, I paid and went to try the to open the trunk manually not remotely, to my surprise it did not open. I thought it was a mistake I went back to the guy, he asked me to wait another 20 mnts, I told him to take his time, because I knew to extract the MASTER code from the car computer takes time. I came back with the Key, it opened the trunk, this time the key has a MASTER cut. But , but when I took it to a friend to test it if it was a Master he told me it's not, simply there are things you can do (Look it up in youtube) with the master that you can't do with the valet key like how to program your key with just a master key, I did not do what it suppose to do. I called the guy on the phone and I told him, I specifically requested a MASTER key, he instead asked me what is wrong with the key, obviously he was deviating my question. After many twists on the phone trying again to deviate the question revealing his lack of knowledge and competency, he asked me to come to the store to see what is wrong with it, I told him there is nothing wrong with it it's the wrong key(Masterr and Valet is different). But if you know what are you doing I do not need another trip. So I said "F" to the hundred something that I paid, and forget about this place. So my advice to everyone, do not do business with some one who takes every customers as if they are completely dump. An honest business last longer than a scam, you are not only selling keys, you are building human relations, than can make your business flourish for a long time.

These guys helped me out of a tough situation. I spoke with other automotive locksmiths in the area and all of them were seemingly uninterested in performing the services they advertise (granite lock in Quincy especially). Boston Car Keys had my problem fixed within 3 hours of calling them on a Monday morning.

Lost key in the middle of Boston downtown: The best service I have had in keys replacement. Yesterday I stuck in Boston downtown at 5:00pm in a meter spot, after calling 3 other companies to come and help me getting a new key for my Prius, I was finally successful having bostoncarkeys coming helping me out with a friendly, reasonable price and professional service.
