I had to replace my car key battery. The gentleman I dealt with was extremely kind and efficient. The battery replacement was somewhere around $7, and I was in and out of there in no time. I highly recommend 👌🏼
Good service, I got the key for my car from them, and the guy told me, if I have any problem with the key, I can always go the shop to fix it. I hope he will keep his word. Show like they are very serious for what they do, I recommend it.
My key for my 2013 Jetta broke and after calling so many other companies, I finally got connected with Boston Car keys. They were the most reasonable as far as price, and very friendly. I would definitely go back if I have another key issue for sure....Thank you Boston Car Keys!
Called to inquire about getting a smart key that i bought on eBay wiped and programmed for my Prius. I was in and out in 10 minutes at a fraction the cost of going to the dealer. Very friendly and courteous and professional.
Best price forsure, I had no key and no spare.. i bought an uncut key from amazon compatible with my car and had Boston Car Keys come to my car and cut and program. I called all other locksmiths in area and they all quoted me prices that were at least 30% more. One issue was they told me 2-3 pm but didnt show till 5 saying they were a half hour away each time i called but they where most likely busy. When they did arrive service was quick and friendly if you lose your key and can wait buy uncut key online first you save $$
These guys are awesome. I needed a same day appointment and they coordinated with me so well on a time to get the work I needed done (MIND YOU, this was on CHRISTMAS EVE!). They answered every one of my phone calls and were responsive on getting my needs done!
I lost my spare FOB for my Lexus RX 350 and I brought a FOB that I purchased on line into the East Boston location. Mario was able to program the new FOB in less than 5 minutes. Only $85, Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

They said they could program my 2008 honda fit key fob, cut the key, then said they were not able to program the key. They had no remorse for their mistake (falsely promising they could program it) and still charged me for cutting the key because they said they would have destroyed it otherwise.
Had a couple new car keys and a few new house keys made, the car keys (most important and needed) came out perfect. One of the house keys doesn't work but that was only $2.00 so it wasn't a huge deal. Staff was super nice and the red waiting couch was comfortable. Would recommend to friends/ family for sure. Thanks!
