When City Tap first opened their burgers were amazing. When I got back from COVID event I got one and it was a dry hockey puck. Different owner or chef? Is it worth trying again? I feel now they just want to make money off of the huge bar. SAD

Our server was Bryan he is very nice patient and helpful we were happy to have him as our server!! The food was beyond amazing. The Ceasars salad was the best I have ever had in my life it was like a Caesar vinaigrette dressing which was to die for. The pork nachos were also amazing. These 2 items alone are enough to share and fill up 2 people. I also ordered a burger and because of the salad I had high expectations for the burger and it exceeded my expectations. My wife had the shrimp and grits she said it was amazing also!! Top ratings all around for this place!!!

Nice atmosphere and a solid concept, though the experience didn’t quite live up to the idea of a tap house. We were seated and never told there wasn’t table service, so we sat waiting before realizing we had to order at the bar. Really wasn't an issue, just would have been nice to be told that when seated. On top of that, multiple draft beers were unavailable which felt a little odd for a place centered around beer. Feels like it could be a great spot with just a little more attention to the basics.

Good atmosphere, mediocre food. I got the fig and goat cheese grilled chicken sandwich, it was pretty average. The fries were great though! The hummus platter was underwhelming, the pita was stale. The poke bowl was bland with not a lot of tuna.

Our first stop in Philly and we will be back! The 10 spice wings were so good we put in a second order. Our server, Emily M., made our night. She's personable, funny, and made us want to return. What a great place!

Have been here many times over the years. One of our go-to spots in the city for drinks. We went here one Saturday night. Able to find a seat at the bar pretty easily. Ordered a few rounds of drinks and some wings - I like a good day rub and this one definitely doesn't disappoint!

Friendly staff, good drinks, reasonable management. I ordered the Tandoori Chicken Kabobs. Decent chicken but UNDRESSED quinoa was presented as their version of TABBOULEH salad. For reference, Tabbouleh is a salad made mostly of finely chopped parsley, with tomatoes, mint, onion, bulgur (soaked, not cooked), and seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, salt and sweet pepper. I would have relented if the quinoa was dressed in any way as a salad. No oil, no acid or vinegar - literally completely undressed cold quinoa. Frankly, anyone who has watched any Gordon Ramsay or any cooking show should know better than to present anything undressed. Not impressed at all. On - positive note, the Manager was kind, understood my disappointment, and attempted to make amends with a free drink. So their customer service is definitely on point.

Good service, nice restaurant, wonderful location near hotels and within walking distance of beautiful water fountains and art museums. We got the steak frites and the filet mignon and it was great. 🙂

Took my staff (8) there on Saturday after we were finished working in the area. From the time we walked in (there were only 2 other people in the place at 12:40) we received attitude. Emily M was our server was rude from the start. I asked if they had flavored Tequila, she said she didn't think so. I was looking for Cucumber Jalapeno Tequila. She said they had Jalapeno behind the bar but no cucumbers. I said ...Do you not have Salad on your menu that has cucumbers on it , she said the kitchen was a different department and she couldn't get cucumber from there to use at the bar. Seriously!. She basically made fun of me when I said they could muddle the cucumber and jalapeno into the tequila. It was a no go, it wasn't going to happen. I ordered Ice Tea, she came back and said they didn't have Ice Tea..I said do you have hot tea? Yes...I said bring me hot tea along with a glass of ice and I'll show you how to make Ice tea. One of my staff ordered a beer, when it arrived, there was a gnat floating in it. How did the bartender and her not see it floating on the top? When she brought the check to me, she informed me since it was a party of 8 , there was an automatic tip added which I found insulting since her service was well below par. Emily never once came over while we ate to check on us. Needless to say, WE WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN. )this was not my first time there, but it was the last time there. Even my staff said, 'Never again do they want to go back there'
