What started out as a great experience quickly went south. My legal team changed a few times but still ended up settling pretty quickly. But after we settled my paperwork got stuck in the office where my legal team reviewed the offer for 2 weeks, was told the person working on it left sick and it sat there until they returned. Then finally got it signed and the judge signed off thought we was good. My team received my check and told me 7-10 days I would receive it. Well, it’s been 14 days and my team never answers the phone, but when I finally talk to someone they say it’s waiting for final approval and they have emailed them. Still have no clue when I’ll receive my funds. Everything is emailed is all I get. So while I’m setting here waiting for a response I have done lost my car, and about to become homeless and all I get is someone will call when we know something. To me for as much as they charged I shouldn’t be left in the dark. Even the insurance case worker for workman’s compensation reached out and thanked me already for everything. But my own legal team leaves me in the dark. Very unhappy with this experience.
