I have taken G1G Travel Insurance couple of times. Their plan option and payment mechanism is quite good. But, i have faced issues multiple times, while signing/logging in. Even when password is reset by G1G chat, it still does not work. Consequently, accessing policy document and making changes directly is not possible and has to be done only via email.
From start to acquisition Bernard was phenomenal. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable which is missing from most experiences today. This is just the beginning of a wonderful experience as their products are very affordable to boot. We, as of the date of this writing, haven’t used the insurance yet but having it makes me feel complete. It has been the most positive and stress free experience for any purchase of insurance in my life. I highly recommend them for anyone traveling. Ask for Bernard, he and his team will make it happen and you too will feel complete. Thanks to the entire G1G team.
I just had the best customer experience with G1G travels. I booked my trip dates wrong (totally my fault) and within seconds of calling and leaving a voicemail Zack called me back to fix it. As I was waiting another member also called me back to help as well (I apologize I did not get his name but thank you sir!) Zack was able to quickly rectify my dates and refund my card. I am very impressed with the customer service at G1G! I viewed a few of their videos on You Tube and found them quite informative and much needed, because I had researched many travel insurance companies over the span of a few days, and I was getting more confused with each new plan. After hours and hours of checking online, I felt it was time to actually talk to a real person, so with my questions, I called G1G, and fortunately, Zack answered my call. After talking to him for a few minutes, I felt at ease, and I could tell he truly cared about me and my getting good travel insurance. In total, we spoke three times, and I, finally, with his expert assistance, chose a plan, completed the application, and paid the fee. I can't thank Zack enough for his help! He was not pushy; he was friendly, patient, and professional, wanting to always give me clear explanations of the benefits of the plans. He really made me comfortable, and I remain that way, much relieved that my upcoming trip is well-protected. Zack was always so pleasant and respectful to me, and in the end, it was kind of a fun, enjoyable experience! Our flight from London to Paris was delayed by 6 hours, and G1G made the situation a lot easier. They helped us file a claim that covered meals and drinks during the wait, which was a great relief. Their customer service also helped us find a solid, affordable plan before the trip. In the end, the claim was worth more than the insurance! I love G1G! I am a travel blogger, been to over 45 countries and 200 cites with my son, as a single mom on a budget. I NEED good travel insurance and reliable service. I used a different service previously until I was referred by another travel blogger and expert to G1G. The plans are affordable with as much or as minimal coverage as you need and the support and service is GREAT. When I first used them I had a bunch of questions and they set up a call for me and let me ask a ton of Q's. Now I use their AI assistant and their chat support and it's GREAT! Honestly I just spent $85.00 on a plan for myself and my son and it's $85.00 for extensive coverage and peace of mind! We'll be traveling internationally and across a few cities, NOT getting travel insurance is NEVER WORTH IT. G1G is GREAT, just DO IT, buy the plan!!! SAM in Customer Service IS THE BEST!
We purchased annual international medical insurance through G1G. We used G1G because of the depth of knowledge their agent demonstrated and his quick understanding of our wants & needs. This Spring we had occasion to need the insurance for an in-patient hospitalization in a remote foreign country. There were language, time difference, and a very large expectation disconnect between what the insurance company "required" for information and what was feasible. G1G stepped in, helped bridge the gap, and successfully advocated for our needs. Their advocacy for us, the customer, was outstanding, and, frankly somewhat surprising.
