I have traveled extensively throughout the world and I can say that I have never had such a positive experience with an insurance company as I have with G1G Travel & Visitors Insurance. I will continue to use them on my trips and encourage our travel clients to use them as well. This is a company that cares for the people it insures!

I have been very happy with the service I have received from G1G in selecting travel insurance policies for several trips; I feel like they provide very good info that allows me to choose the right policy for the trip. I have not had to make a claim until recently and THAT EXPERIENCE HAS TOTALLY SOLD ME ON G1G!! I will ALWAYS use them for travel insurance in the future. Sarah was SO helpful in a very stressful situation. Her knowledge, expertise and support has resulted in us getting a full refund for a trip to India (routed through the Middle East) that got cancelled at the last minute about a month ago. I cannot recommend G1G more highly; they are the best!

Solid customer service. Was able to answer all my questions and didn't try to up sell me with coverage that I didn't need. More importantly, the customer service rep put my mind at ease for my upcoming family trip to Nicaragua. Hopefully, the trip will go smoothly and won't have to submit any claims but feel confident that G1G will be there for us if needed.

I'm very late to write this review, but I've had nothing but a great experience with this company- they are responsive and quick to handle claims. I recommended them to a friend visiting me in the US from Europe in 2019. Long story short, he had a bad accident and ended up in the hospital for 5 days with surgery. I was the one to call and report the incident and G1G was so fast to set everything up to receive bills directly from the hospital. I was honestly so amazed, normally always preparing myself for a fight with insurance companies. In the end, well worth their reasonable price and I will continue to use them when I travel!

We have been using G1G for Visitors medical insurance for many years now and just now purchased a travel protection plan for our trip to Mexico later this year. The purchase process and online support is very good and easy. We have never had to file a claim so far, touchwood, but if we have to do so in the future, we hope G1G will offer same level of support.

Their service is very easy to use, especially for Schengen area trips. The customer service exceeded my expectations and was extremely helpful.

If I could rate zero, I would. I am writing this review to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the unprofessionalism and excessive delays I have experienced during this G1G insurance and claim process. I do not typically write reviews, especially negative ones, but my experience with this company has been so appalling that I feel obligated to warn others. While traveling in Indonesia, I fell very ill and filed a travel interruption insurance claim in a timely manner through their website. However, the claim was never submitted due to their dysfunctional and poorly designed online platform. I reached out to their customer service to confirm receipt of my claim, only to be told it had not been received. I was then instructed to complete and submit a manual form. After resubmitting my claim manually, I received no acknowledgment or confirmation for more than two weeks. When someone finally responded, I was informed that "normal processing time is between 15 and 30 business days" and that my claim had only been processed a week after I initially submitted it. This was the beginning of what has now been two plus months of continuous back-and-forth emails with their company, filled with excuses ranging from "checking for fraudulent activity" to "snowstorms" and other force majeure issues. They have now extended the processing timeline to an outrageous 3-6 months and advised me to "read the claim documents" to understand the delay. I have repeatedly requested a refund of my premium due to their inability to process claims in a reasonable time, but my requests have gone unanswered. This entire process has been nothing short of exhausting and infuriating. Their lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability suggests a pattern of deceptive behavior. I am left with no choice but to report this company to the Better Business Bureau. It is unacceptable that customers are forced to resort to threats or extreme measures simply to have their concerns addressed. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this company to look elsewhere. Based on my experience, they are unreliable, untrustworthy, and seem more focused on avoiding claims than fulfilling their obligations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
