G1G Travel & Visitors Insurance

I was referred to G1G by Cameron Outfitters who are taking my son and I into the wilds of Montana. Albert Stone was wonderful!! He explained everything to me -- clearly, succinctly and cheerfully! I got the best coverage for our trip at the lowest possible price and I am so relieved to have this kind of coverage. I had No idea that there was insurance out there that would cover everything from lost baggage to trip cancellation due to new Covid restrictions or wild fires or illness, death of a loved one, an accident or injury on the mountains or on the way to the airport (as well as the cost of being airlifted out alive!) . It's crazy good! I'm seriously telling all my friends about it. Go G1G!!! You guys are great.

I have been using G1G for a long time to purchase travel health insurance for my visting family. The website and customer service is great! I recently interacted with Zack for purchasing a plan for my elderly mom. Zack was very knowledgable and clairfied the claims process and renewal options clearly. I knew I was dealing with a professional! Thanks a lot!

Not only is the site clear, crisp, and easy to follow, but their Customer Service at Chat is second to none. Amazingly fast and witty (when appropriate) responses, and a truly customized and customer centric focus. Had shopped around for Travel Insurance and stopped after finding G1G because they were that fantastic! Not sure which agent I chatted with but she was great!

We've used G1G to insure several of our trips. Although the online quote system can be a little clunky, customer service is great. Zack was very patient and helpful setting up our multi-traveler coverage over the phone.

G1G didn't pay out on the basic claim that I paid the premium cost for. Nice service when selling the insurance, wanted to trust G1G, paid good coverage. Had a minor claim for visiting the doctors. Provided receipts, took months to get back then they said they needed extra medical records - on top of the receipts - for $200 from a tiny doctor's office in the middle of costa rica. When i asked for specifics on what they needed they never followed up (has been 4 months now). However fancy a site or customer service is, if they don't pay out on uncontested claims, that are clearly covered - then you can't help feeling G1G are the ones doing the robbing. Real shame.

UPDATE We had to unfortunately use the insurance from G1G and it was a horrible experience for us. The company used the excuse of existing conditions to all the claims while my father In law had a medical emergency for something that we have never ever experienced. We were made to provide documents etc but every single claim was denied. I do not recommend that you buy this insurance at all. We had a very terrible experience and do not want anyone to go through the same My parents visit the USA frequently and we have always bought travel insurance for my parents from India. The last time around, for the first time we actually had to use the insurance and it was not an easy process for getting the forms filled, answering questions, resubmitting forms and calling India and still it took a long time to finally get the claim processed that too after my employer stepped in. So, I was now looking for an insurance from USA this time. The big issue was that I was not able to get a plan that allowed an adequate coverage for onset of acute pre existing conditions. I called G1G and spoke with Max and he took time to understand my requirement and then instead of pushing any plan explained to me the kid of insurance plan that will work for my needs. The then stated that there is a new plan that is going to come up will meet my needs. He was not pushy or salesy at all and was very helpful. He sent me the links to the new product once it was launched and it was super easy to bu the insurance. As i was buying travel insurance from a USA company for the first time, /i had a lot of questions, Max addressed all of them so so did the online chat help. Overall a great experience with the search, buy and customer service. Will totally recommend. Do ask questions as the team can then help you better. The big plus for me was that they did not try to push any product to me rather worked with me to get the right one.

I have booked travel insurance multiple time with G1G, Customer support is very good, they can explain all the details about the insurance. Provide best plan. Till now luckily I have neve used the insurance, but they always provide the assurance that all claims we can go through the G1G customer support if needed.

We have a trip to Europe coming up and I was late in considering travel insurance as part of our trip plans. Suddenly, I realize after doing some searching on line that this is way more complicated than just medical insurance. I turned to YouTube to find out more. Most of the videos were from world travelers who would mention other companies with great rates. I used a couple pricing engines and was being quoted really great numbers but was leery about it being that simple. I did more searching and came across a YouTube video from a representative of G1G. It was a LOOOONG video (54 minutes) and only had 724 views since June of 2023. I was hungry for knowledge and dove in. An hour and change later I knew that I needed to call G1G for more information. The next day I reached out to them and was incredibly fortunate to be connected with Albert. To say that Albert helped put my mind at ease regarding our travel insurance needs would be the understatement of the year! Albert put together a couple of quotes to fit the needs we determined for this trip and sent them to me for review. I had plenty of further questions and Albert was only too happy to walk me through all the details and even threw out some extra tips from his personal travels to help. I am confident that we have all of our insurance needs taken care of for a fair price with a company that will stand behind us. I can't recommend G1G and Albert specifically enough. My experience with G1G insurance was great! The company knows how to be thorough and professional and I found it very cooperative with the information I was looking for. The best part is they were responsive and did not have crazy wait times on their helpline plus they got back with all my questions promptly. My experience so far was great with your travel company. I hope you will continue to serve me if a claim is filed which I hope not. I had a bad experience last year with IMG travel and was skeptical at first getting travel insurance again. James was very convincing and knowledgeable.
