I needed a last minute travel coverage. Called the customer service number of G1G and got connected with Usman. He was extremely cordial and took the time to understand my needs. he walked me through a number of available options. After exploring the available options and in less than 15 minutes, I was able to get the best suitable travel protection. Thank you Usman.
A Forbes article led me to G1G Travel Insurance and after additional research I choose them for our 3 month adventure around the world. Their comparison tool was very intuitive. Their stand out service came from Alex, who helped us in a pinch. Of course my boyfriend waited until the day before we left to actually review and buy the plan I picked out a month earlier. We had some trouble buying the plan online, because in the time I had researched it to when we bought there was a change, but Alex found us a new plan, with more benefits and a savings of $20 each. We were on a plane when I received an email saying, "I imagine you are traveling now, so I went ahead and processed the purchase the Atlas International since I did not want you to be traveling without the proper travel insurance." I had a phenomenal experience speaking with Bernard from G1G. We spoke for nearly an hour. He patiently answered all my questions and clearly had a through understanding of everything. What struck me most was that this company stands behinds its products even after the insurance policy is sold. They will help you navigate the complicated world of insurance claims, if needed. I have not used the insurance yet (hopefully won't have to), but I came away convinced that G1G, unlike other vendors who are just middle-men that sell you a product and then disappear, will be right there with me and supporting me if I need help with insurance claims. This company is most definitely part of the new consciousness dawning in the business world which truly puts human values first.

Good experience online chatting w/a rep in order to purchase travel insurance. I went to G1G after reading a review on Forbes of the best places to buy travel insurance. It sounds like the reviewer knows someone at G1G and stands behind their reputation. Hope we don't have to use the insurance, but it feels good to have it!
Unusually great customer service and knowledgeable representatives. They appear to know the ins and outs of the insurance products they sell, and unlike the other outfits I spoke to, Bernard and Alex at G1g gave clear, straight answers that were consistent with the policy terms, and without needing to muddle through the policy on the phone with me. I may update this review should we ever need to use the insurance policy.
