San Antonians: don't walk to this location, run! They have some serious gems of which I naturally took pictures for you to see.
This store has zero customer service. Needed to use the restroom. Well they are locked up. When you go ask to be let in they say someone will open the door but it doesn't happen. Then if you request a military discount, show proper id. Then guess what, you don't get it. Worst Goodwill in the city.
update: I don't know what they're thinking with these prices!! a spaghetti strap shirt that Walmart sells for a couple of bucks & they want $5.29 for it- SECOND HAND?? that's outrageous. and yes, they were ALL priced that way, it wasn't a one off mistake. I've seen items that had their original price tags that Goodwill turned around and put higher prices on!! what's going on here? this store is always tidy & clean by thrift store standards, anyways. the items are on the shelves, not in the aisles.
I was going to donate but after I got my things thrown around by the guy in the donation station I changed my mind. They are very rude.
Just had a horrible experience over here where I wanted to buy a push mower.And they decided to change the price on me.Because they labeled it wrong. I asked them to change the price and honor the price.They had on it originally. To which, they refused to do so. Why do they care so much?If they get everything for free anyways. I made sure to call corporate and report them for scheming.
Found some good deals today wasn’t able to act out on all but saw a lot of cool stuff for good prices
Decent selection, the good stuff goes quickly. Recommend shopping early or right before the weekend/Fri if you can. On several occasions, I’ve had to leave the store due to strong perfumed deodorizers, I’d recommend using a scentless product if needed to avoid triggering allergies. Store employees have been friendly overall. This store is on one of the busiest bus routes in the city, so be aware it can be crowded during peak hours.
I was surprised by the prices !!! It’s Ross or Burlington , you should fire the one who’s responsible about the prices, it’s called goodwill!! Stop making profit money 💰 using somebody’s donations shame on you.
It’s 25 minutes after closing time and we just finished shopping! My mom is visiting from out of town and boy does she love a great bargain! The entire staff was totally accommodating and nice even though they had to work 25 minutes of overtime. The store is clean and everyone is ready to help with a smile! This store definitely takes a 5 star review from me!
