We booked trips to the Grand Canyon (South Rim) and Death Valley with Darryl from Grand Adventures, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Darryl managed to secure a private van just for the four of us, which made the trips even more comfortable and personal. It was also the perfect way to get rid of a jet lag 🙂 Darryl is an incredible guide: very chill, yet extremely knowledgeable. He provides the perfect balance of interesting information, well-timed stops, and enough freedom to explore and discover things on your own. Everything felt relaxed, well-organized, and never rushed. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Grand Adventures - and Darryl in particular - to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Our original sunset Grand canyon tour was cancelled due to bad weather at the canyon. However, it was more than worth the additional day wait. Alfonso is one of the best tour guides I have ever had on a tour. (Considering the sunset tours are around 15 hours that's a serious bonus) He knew the best spots for pictures and was full of fun facts! (He took all of the pictures I included) My husband and I will really cherish the memories from this trip for a life time. If you are debating on booking this tour, book it! Just don't forget to bring a jacket, because it gets cold at night if you do the sunset tour.

Before my Las Vegas trip I was not sure I should go to Grand Canyon because of my time limit and not sure it will be worthy for 5 hours drive and one day trip. But I made it and we were very happy for one day out of Strip. And I am glad that I chose The Grand Adventures Tours for GC winter sunset. They are really good, our tour guide is Darryl who is very patient, knowledgeable and professional. It was very small group because of COVID hit, just our couple and two Korean girls. It was amazing, I would recommend this tour.

We went on the Grand Canyon sunset tour in January 2025. Alfonso was our tour guide and he is gifted in his telling of the history and knowledge of the locations we visited. We had an amazing day. An additional bonus was Alfonso is an incredible photographer. He knew exactly where to get the best photos, how to frame the shot and even posed us. Afterwards he shared all the pictures he'd captured on his own phone with us and we will have them to forever treasure.

Perfect escape from Las Vegas! Thank you Darryl for taking us on our adventure. Darryl was the perfect guide and host and definitely takes pride in his company. We were picked up on time from our hotel with excellent communication and the van accommodations were comfortable for our 2 hour journey. On our way out of Las Vegas we stopped at the welcome sigh for a quick photo op and then a quick stop at McDonald’s for a drive through breakfast. On our drive Darryl give us a bit of history about Vegas and the same upon our arrival to the Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam stop was fantastic we parked close and enjoyed a walk across the dam with the opportunity to take some wonderful pictures. Back in the van and onward to the West Rim Grand Canyon….one word upon arrival WOW! Having Darryl as our private guide really made the difference and makes Grand Adventures Tours stand out from other tours. Darryl whisked us away from any lines and we were able to avoid the tram with a direct ride and an included ticket on the amazing Skywalk. After exploring Eagle Point and Guano Point with their incredible views and plenty of time for photo taking we sat down overlooking the Canyon to enjoy the delicious lunch Darryl brought in for us. What a wonderful tour we had with Grand Adventures Tours and look forward to more adventures with them!!!

We booked a tour for Easter Saturday and heard from Darryl that the other group who had booked the same trip had cancelled - we weren't able to rearrange so despite the fact that it was just the two of us, he honoured the booking and took us all the way out the South Rim, keeping the itinerary exactly as planned. He was full of knowledge and interesting stories which kept the long journey entertaining and we had lots of time at the Grand Canyon to take it all in. Thoroughly recommend - the tour was a real highlight of our holiday.

Look no further and book your tours with Grand Adventure Tours! After reviewing a variety of other companies prior to booking… this one checked all of the boxes! Hotel pick up and drop off (no walking to other hotel meet points), breakfast and lunch included, private and comfortable 10 passenger vehicles, photo stop at the Las Vegas sign, Hoover dam stop and Sky walk included at the Grand Canyon. I have now done 2 trips with grand adventure tours and I could not recommend them Highly enough. Most recently with Alfonso we done the sunset hike tour and it was nothing short of incredible. Alfonso as a host and a person was an absolute pleasure, the knowledge he has is unbelievable! We could have listened to his stories for days. He was so friendly and accommodating and even took loads of photos on his phone for us to send over as the camera is such good quality. The Grand Canyon at sunset was a bucket list moment for myself and my partner and it did not disappoint. We had the best time on this semi private tour of just 6 people. The photos speak for themselves! Get booking this tour as you will absolutely not regret it. P.S it’s much colder then vegas so take a jumper… as you can see… I bought a blanket from the gift shop 🤣

My mom and I took the South Rim Sunset tour in June, and were ver pleased with how amazing it was, and will very much recommend Grand Adventures Tours to everyone who wants to experience breathtaking views the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam have to offer. Our tour guide, Alfonso, was fun, very enthusiastic, passionate about his job, caring and knowledgeable gentleman. The long ride was well worth it, and we traveled very comfortably with a group of very kind people 🙂

Five newly-minted 60-year-olds decided to celebrate by taking on the Skywalk Grand Canyon tour with Grand Adventure Tours — and what an unforgettable experience it was! Our guide, Paul, was an absolute gem: knowledgeable, witty, a die-hard football fan, and clearly a part-time comedian. Starting bright and early meant we had the Hoover Dam practically to ourselves and front-row seats to a breathtaking sunrise. The itinerary was perfectly planned, the scenery was beyond spectacular, and Paul knew every hidden spot for the best photos — our cameras have never worked harder. He was also incredibly supportive of one of our group who discovered she’s not exactly fond of heights, offering patient encouragement and plenty of humor along the way. By the end, we all agreed that if Paul ever runs another tour, we’d sign up in a heartbeat — even if it’s just to the local coffee shop. Five stars, countless laughs, and memories to last another 60 years!
