What an amazing tour. First Darryl, the owner responded quickly to my questions when I emailed him. Due to some staff getting covid we had to change our tour day but he was very accommodating and went beyond giving us great customer service.( Grateful he is following the protocols that are required.) Alphonso was our guide and picked us up at 9:30am, he is very knowledgeable and easy going. He explained the history of Hoover dam, Route 66 and the Grand Canyon to us in detail. We had so much fun, he takes amazing photos and was happy to send them to us upon our return to Canada/Scotland. It was a long day but well worth it! If you are going to do this trip ask for Alphonso.

Paul was our tour guide and he was awesome. Some would have felt rushed but I was ok with being rushed to the skywalk because had we not got there when we did we would have been waiting a very long time. It was an amazing experience. It was nice not being on some big tour bus with lots of people. It was five of us so much more personal and Paul had us laughing the whole time. He was very social.

Our family had a great time on our tour of the Grand Canyon West Rim and Hoover Dam. Our tour guide Tracy was awesome, he picked us up at the hotel, grabbed McD’s, took pictures at the Las Vegas Sign and then off to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. Thanks Tracy for helping us make wonderful memories!

A friend of mine did a tour with Grand Adventures Tours several years ago and highly recommended them. I can definitely see why. By far this was the best tour I have ever been on! Alfonso was an amazing guide. You can tell he loves his job, as it shines through in the vast expanse of his knowledge in every part of the tour. He gives such detail of the area leading up to the actual destination. And he treated each person on the tour like they were all friends of his. He took the time to chat with each group and made sure that everyone was comfortable. He stayed with the group the entire day, and took amazing photos - both as the full group and in our own individual groups. He has a great eye and made sure to get a variety of photos at different angles. There was a photo I had seen on one of their review pages, and I really wanted to get the same picture. Alfonso made sure it happened! My family was absolutely amazed! When they say everything is included - they mean it! Breakfast, lunch, snacks, unlimited water - and all the pictures of us were sent to us the next day, thanking US for a great day (can you imagine that?)! Rather than rationing out the water, he reminded everyone to drink up so no one dehydrated and when the water was running low, he restocked during a fuel stop. At the end of a LONG day, he dropped each group back at their hotel - that's a huge difference from other tours we've been on that just drop at one or two locations and leave you to find your own way back. The day flowed seamlessly and it was a wonderful, memorable day. Thank you so much!

Wonderful day with Paul and our group of 6. I feel blessed to have gotten to see the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Joshua Trees. Being a single traveler I appreciated being picked up at my hotel and off too see the sites with a lovely group.

Our Grand Canyon Skywalk Tour was booked with Grand Adventures Tours. It took place on January 17, 2025 with an amazing guide named Alfonso. As we travelled from site to site, Alfonso enthusiastically shared his knowledge which not only made the driving time pass by faster, but also made our trip all the more interesting. At each stop along our tour, Alfonso joined our group and took it upon himself to take wonderful photos with his personal phone and with the phones of each group member if they asked him to. He sent copies of his pictures to all of us which shows that he truly cares that everyone has great photos to remember their trip by. I would highly recommend this tour and in particular the exceptional tour guide that we were so fortunate to have been assigned. If you’re reading this, thanks again Alfonso—you really went above and beyond!

Excellent experience! Darryl is so knowledgeable and friendly. I loved that it was a small group, the pace was perfection, and we made iconic stops on our way to The Grand Canyon. Breakfast and lunch were included which was very convenient. Extremely happy with our tour!

I can honestly say that our trip to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon was possibly the best day trip many of us have ever done. Booking was quick and simple, and the price was very competitive: definitely worth booking directly on the GA website for the best price! Communication was excellent throughout. I contacted Grand Adventures before booking with a query, and their response was immediate, friendly, and helpful. The day before our trip, Paul contacted us via WhatsApp to confirm the details and check our lunch orders. On the day, everything ran smoothly and on time. What a great guy Paul is—we had the best day with him! He was knowledgeable, informative, and full of tips on how to get the most out of the experience. He made sure we got the best views with no queues and that everyone was comfortable, hydrated, and well fed throughout the day. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and seeing the vastness of the Grand Canyon in person is something we'll never forget. We'd booked the day trip as a pre-wedding family event, and it kicked off the festivities in great style. We were totally wowed by the beautiful sights and the warm welcome we received everywhere we went. We were genuinely sad to say goodbye at the end of the day and all agreed that Grand Adventures—and Paul in particular—made a very special occasion even more memorable. Highly recommended!

Wow !! Where do I start. From the booking process online to the communication asking questions and even changing the date was a real breeze with this company. On the day Alfonso was on time and informative about the day . But my words won’t do him justice. This was not your average tour guide. He exceeded expectations at every turn. Taking us to places I didn’t expect to even see on the tour ( Route 66) he made us all feel so welcome and included all of us in the tour. His photography skills are amazing and he knew exactly where to get the perfect pictures . We had such an incredible tour and experience up to the Grand Canyon. This day will never be forgotten.
