Grand Adventures Tours

We did the Grand Canyon Skywalk tour today with Alfonso from Grand Adventure Tours, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Alfonso was exceptional, his knowledge was outstanding, the group size was small, and he gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop at our own pace. It was a long day, but absolutely worth every minute. A fantastic experience from start to finish.

A superb full days tour to Grand Canyon West. Alfonso our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly we felt like we'd made a friend. Loads of photos taken by him at the best places on every stop. This was our third outing with Grand Adventures. Darryl does small tours only and he does them well! They are far better than the large bus tours that most tour companies offer, 50 plus people per tour. He is very knowledgeable about Nevada and Vegas and he answered any questions we had. His equipment is clean and well maintained. We haven't ever had a bad tour with him. I would recommend Darryl for any tour you might want to go on!

Alfonso was an awesome tour guide! We had a small group of 4 and he customized the trip just for us. It was amazing to hear all his knowledge of Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon. He has historical knowledge and is well versed in the geology and nature of the entire area. Thank you so much for a wonderful day and taking photos of all of us! He stopped at the best places to take our photos and put us at prefect angels to get the great shots of us with the landmarks.

This was my second tour with Alfonso, and he continued to amaze me. He is an exceptional tour guide and an outstanding photographer offering to take amazing pictures. His passion for history and storytelling is contagious, and he brought the past to life with vivid descriptions and fascinating details. Our tour of Las Vegas, Boulder City, Hoover Dam, the Joshua tree forest, and the Grand Canyon was breathtaking, but it was Alfonso's insights and stunning photography that truly enriched the experience. I couldn't have asked for a better guide. I highly recommend him!

My wife and I went on the Grand Canyon Skywalk & Hoover Dam tour on our 20th anniversary. Our guide Alfonso was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the tour. From the lay of the land to the local wildlife/people and of course all the attractions that brought us out. He took some amazing pictures so we were able to fully enjoy the experience and be captured in all the beautiful scenery we observed. It was a day of new experiences with new friends, great camaraderie and amazing memories. The weather was beautiful. Everything was just perfect. We had originally planned on driving from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon ourselves. Looking back we made the right decision. Being able to sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery while also learning the history was amazing. We would not have gotten that driving ourselves. We highly recommend taking this tour if the opportunity arises. You will not be disappointed. It is an all day adventure that must not be missed.

This was honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We did a tour to Yosemite from San Francisco a few days after this one and it really paled in comparison to our experience with Grand Adventures. We did the Grand Canyon sunset tour in 2016 and again last year. The guides are great and it doesn’t feel awkward or commercial. The guides are all super down to earth. The van is very comfortable and the smaller group size makes for a much better experience. Because the group size is smaller, you can really get to know the other people in your tour during the trip. The breakfast at McDonald’s is such a great way to start the day. The sandwiches they pack for lunch are also amazing (I still think about them sometimes). The guides know exactly where to go to get the best photos and avoid the crowds. They’re really great with the schedule as well: we mentioned we hadn’t see the Las Vegas sign before and Daryl kindly offered to add an extra stop for us so we could get some photos! It was pretty cold when we went and I didn’t bring an extra jacket or gloves but they had an extra set in the van that I was able to borrow. The tour includes a lot so make sure you’re ready for a big day. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes since you also walk around the canyon. I cannot recommend Grand Adventures tours enough. I’m so glad they’ve also expanded to doing tours of Zion as that’s on our list of things to see!

Amazing experience with Grand Adventures! I was visiting Las Vegas for a week in May and had always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon. I found Daryl's site, checked out a few reviews, booked and the whole process could not be easier! He was able to pick me and boyfriend up right on time near our hotel, took us to the Las Vegas sign for photos, then McDonalds for Breakfast (as a vegan, I ordered an orange juice and a few plain English muffins, I had my brought my own avocado and it was a good breakfast). We stopped at Joshua Tree, 2 places at the Grand Canyon that were not rushed, and then the Hoover Dam. The experience was worth every penny. Exquisite, and I would do it again. It was worry free, he's a good driver and guide, and there were 8 of us on the tour. It was so much better than being on a bus of 60 people, etc. He also provided lunch (for me it was a tasty vegan sandwich and chips) and plenty of water. I can't imagine a trip like this being any easier!

I highly recommend Grand Adventure Tours! Booked the walking tour to the Grand Canyon South Rim and had an awesome time. Definitely a highlight of my Vegas trip. I only go on tours with small groups, they are much more enjoyable. Prepare for an all day excursion with stops at Hoover Dam, Seligman/historic Route 66 with rest stops along the way to the Grand Canyon. Alfonso was a great guide and driver. Provided lots of info throughout the tour, and took lots of really nice photos of everyone in the group. We had a really nice group too. Great experience and memories✨️

We chose the small group tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover with Grand Adventures Tours and would highly recommend this to anyone. It was our pleasure to to have Alfonso as our guide for the day. He is very knowledgeable and kept us fully informed along the way with the history and culture of the area. This was a full day tour with breakfast and lunch and refreshments included. There were numerous stops during the day to take in the sights and stretch our legs! Alfonso also took lots of pictures with our group which he sent over afterwards.
