We chose **Grand Canyon Adventures** for our anniversary trip to Vegas, and it was amazing! Our guide, **Alfonso**, was energetic, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond—taking us to all the planned spots and even a few extras. He took great photos for everyone and knew all the best views. The tour ran over time (which we were told might happen), but only because Alfonso wanted to share as much as possible. A truly memorable and personal experience. Highly recommend—thanks, Alfonso!

One of the best tours I have been on. Alfonso was the best guide! He had the most knowledge. We were out for around 12 hours and saw some amazing sights. Alfonso made the day amazing all of his facts about each of the places we went to. We had a small group only 10 of us. We were able to get everything done we wanted too in the trip. Each stop we got great pictures taken of us by Alfonso. He knew exactly where to go to get the best pictures. So glad we did this trip with this company would definitely do it again someday.10 out of 10 for us!

My wife and I and friends had a terrific tour using Grand Adventures Tours in September 2024. Our driver/guide was Alfonso Vargas who was sensational. He was prompt, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and a great safe driver. We went to the original Las Vegas sign, walked on the Hoover Dam for at least 45 minutes, the Joshua Tree Forest, and the Grand Canyon Skywalk on the west rim. The tour included a McDonald’s breakfast and a very tasty sandwich/chips/fruit for lunch. Alfonso really made the tour very special and enjoyable. He provided a wonderful history and perspective of the places we visited as well as during our drive. He is also a great photographer and knows all of the best places for the perfect photo and obviously cares deeply about providing a wonderful experience for all of us. I would give the tour 5 stars and Alfonso especially 10 stars!

Took a day trip to Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon. Alfonso, our tour guide, was amazing. He took pictures for us the entire day and stayed with us to explain everything we saw. Highly recommend the trip. Alfonso was so knowledgeable and took great care to show us the best viewing spots. Great experience that our family will remember forever!

We went on the Grand Canyon sunset tour in May 2025. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. We enjoyed learning about Hoover Dam during our stop and had fun visiting Silgman, Arizona. Tracy was a wonderful tour guide. He made it feel like we were on a trip with an old friend. His knowledge about the Grand Canyon was vast and his stories kept us engaged for the entire trip. The drive went quickly with the laughter and great conversation. He needs to write a book!! The sandwiches at lunch were great and he even gave us peeled oranges. We had plenty of time to enjoy the canyon. The sunset tour is a must do! It was a beautiful way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

What makes the difference in a tour is the tour guide. ALFONSO makes the difference on this tour. From beginning to end he was very attentive, informative and great photographer. He is bilingual in English and Spanish. I have travel to many places and took many tours and this one was one of the best. It was our first time in Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. And we end up knowing so much history about Nevada, Arizona and the places we visited. Add the feeling of being standing in one of World Wonders make it outstanding! We were undecided about taking this tour on helicopter or the full experience on road, due to the length of the tour. We don’t regret at all choosing this tour, with ALFONSO included, and take the time to experience it close and personal and not far flying in a helicopter. Grand Adventures were simply brilliant! They had a last minute cancellation of a large group on the day which left my husband and I the only ones taking the excursion but they still honoured the booking and we had a personal one to one experience with the wonderful Alfonso! We visited the southern Grand Canyon which is a 600 mile trip 12 hour trip but so worth it! Alfonso should be a professional photographer, it was so lovely to have photos of us both together taken further than arms length selfies! We visited mid March and it was still very cold at the canyon, it’s essential you dress warmly or it will spoil your trip. We caught a lovely sunset! The whole excursion was great! Mac Donalds breakfast, sandwiches and snacks all perfect. Several stops on the journey, hoover dam, Joshua tree and route 66 all with Alfonso taking perfect pics every time! Great company, good communication, highly recommend!

I highly recommend this tour operator to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon and unsure which option to choose — you won’t regret it! I booked the sunset tour. The small group made the trip feel personal and enjoyable, but the real highlight was our guide Alfonso. His stories, energy, and attention to detail made the experience unforgettable, and even though I was traveling alone, I felt like I was among friends. He also helped me and the other people taking fantastic photos along the way. The schedule was well planned, with plenty of stops for breaks and snacks, and the comfortable mini-van made the long drive much easier. Overall, I’m very glad I chose Grand-Adventures!

If you are looking for a lifetime experience don't miss the Grand Adventures Sunset Tour. Our guide Darryl was as good as you will get, knowledgeable and very down to earth. Passenger comfort was front of mind with stops as required. Hoover Dam was incredible and stops included Route 66. Communication was excellent and absolutely everything was included in the price. The Grand Canyon was everything we expected and more. We cannot recommend Grand Adventure Tours highly enough.
