I really enjoy this store and have been coming for years, but unfortunately, this is maybe the third time I've bought food from here and it's had a LOT of mold on it. Employees should really be checking the dates/checking perishables for any mold daily.
What a nice surprise in Jacksonville. A juice bar, broad variety of produce, supplements wine and cheese. Very friendly and welcoming environment adequate parking and an overall very pleasant environment in which to shop. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Store looked great. Except they were all out of dog shampoo and wasn’t restocking the dog/cat products anytime soon. It took me walking around probably 15-20 mins before anyone (of the 3 or 4 associates) asked me if I needed help. Customer service sucked! First time here, will probably be my last!
Fantastic place. They carry a certain bread product ("Food for Life") that has hugely improved my gut health. The only place near me that carries it. Plus, they do custom orders of my favorite items. Highly recommend this market.
I love this place! I’ve been there four times, and each time I try one of their organic smoothies. My all-time favorite is the Bloody Dragon. I was surprised to find vegan jerky, as well as coconut wraps and seaweed. I’ve been on a raw veggie and fruit, no-cook food fast, and those items have been helping me create a variety of fruit wraps, veggie wraps, and even seaweed wraps. I also get vegan deodorant and body soap from them. I highly recommend this place!
I’ve tried repeatedly to support this local grocer, but the experience never improves. Basic items are constantly out of stock, prices are significantly higher than elsewhere, and management is never present. Custom orders go unanswered for months, customer feedback receives no follow-up, and the overall operation feels disorganized and poorly run. After too many chances, I’m done. I won’t be returning, and I won’t be supporting their other business (Good Dough) either.
Love this place. Everyone that works there is so kind and welcoming. They have lots of things you won’t find at your regular grocery store.
Stopped in for an Acai bowl today, and checked out the inventory. Grassroots has pretty much everything I seek after, organic, local, grass fed items. Vegans will love this place also. I already can't wait to come do more shopping here as an avid supporter of local small business. I'd also be interested in hearing or reading about the Grassroots Market story of how/when it came to be. 5/5 recommended for foodies everywhere

I came here for an event originally, but I decided to shop around a bit since I have a ton of health problems and sensitivities. Staff were amazing at explaining things and showing what they had. I got a few gluten free items as well as dairy free. I was happy to be informed they also accept EBT which is great for me. They had a ton of options for yogurt and ice cream and pizza. Everything I used to eat before I developed sensitivities to it all. I'm definitely going to be coming back here after the 23rd so I can try some different things and see what my stomach can handle. It's family owned and operated which is also convenient. They can order one off or cases of items also if need be.
