Came here for the first time ever. My hubby wanted to take me for a smoothie or juice.. I had no idea it was so full of natural products inside! Love the selection of tinctures and health items that they offer!! I had been dealing with TMJ issues for over a week.. so I decided to get the turmeric twister smoothie... It took the inflammation away!! I've been having 1 every day since. Thank you!! 💜
Local, neighborhood, organic health food store. Medium size and fully stocked with just about everything needed to do a full shop for the weeks grocery items. Nice fresh produce, all 100% certified organic. A small grab&go cooler with prepared food. And most importantly is a fresh, made to order juice and smoothie bar. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. We don't live in the area but have driven through many times over the last 15 years and always make a quick detour off the I-95 to stock the car with necessities. This is our go to market in Jacksonville.
There was a short wait at the deli counter, but the employee apologized and worked through the orders efficiently. The quality of the sliced meat was excellent, so the extra few minutes were worth it.
Lots of great raw options and specialty healthy snack and deserts. Just know that the juice bar/smoothly bar closes 30 mins before the store so 5:30pm on Sundays and 7:30pm on weekdays. I had run here to get a smooth because I was told the juice bar was open till closing time but when I got here at 5:30 I was told they stop taking orders 30 mins before closing time.
First time I went here in a very, very long time like I was a little boy I think last time. I was a little nervous cause I know it’s not a super big store, but everything was easy to find and I’m in a wheelchair so I give so much credit to Jordan asking me if I needed any help. Also, I can’t remember her name, but the elderly lady was so kind and helped me to find exactly what I needed and was looking for. Can’t wait to come back.
The husband and I decided to visit, never been to this store before. I gave it three stars for the large selection of supplements and the natural baking flours. They do carry produce items although, I was surprised they did not have celery root (that's what we were looking for). It's a nice size store and most importantly, there is parking around the building. Being in the 5-point area, parking comes at a premium! Will I stop by again? Probably not and that's because I need a larger produce selection with a larger variety of unusual items, but it was good to have a once over. Now I'm confused because we found celery root at your competitor 🤔 and the 3 stars was specifically for the selection of supplements and baking flours. Please read.
Hoped for better in Jax but the gentleman that was waiting on me was very nice. Need to buy herb book only a few book there the store doesn’t have much weightloss herb (have 2 buy online)what I bought was only a small bit helpful. Not specific to my needs. no reviews will be read/responded
I love our natural food store Grass Roots! I buy my probiotics there. It’s the only place that sells the ones I really need. I love the staff too. After all these years, I’ve never run across one employee that wasn’t very kind & helpful to me when I needed it. In fact, they went out of their way for me.
I love this place. There are so many great healthy food and supplement options as well as friendly and knowledgeable staff.
New supervisor, Andrew, is extremely friendly and has great, welcoming energy. I really appreciated that. (Much different than the energy I’ve been met with from certain staff, unprovoked, for the last while) Got my normal sweet greens smoothie and it tasted wonderful. Thanks, Grassroots! Your attentiveness to great customer service is appreciated.
