Great little coffee shop with various drink combinations and pastries. The pistachio rose is a big hit, but my go to is a cold brew. Reasonable prices and has outdoor seating. They also have market inside that has all kinds of non alcoholic beverages and speciality foods. On the weekends there is a food truck, the vendor changes each week. Great place to try, highly recommend if you're on south Philly.
Good coffee, food trucks, tons of light and an outdoor seating area. This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to, especially in the spring when the large garage doors open, and lawn chairs are set up outside.
Interesting use of outdoor lawn chairs for furniture (not sure how this works in wintertime). Plus, there is a good selection of non-coffee drinks and beverage accessories. And... a cortado served in a large GLASS tumbler! Delicious and classy!
I’ve come to Herman’s on a number of occasions, and have always loved them, but became specifically motivated to review them after having this delicious espressogrino a month or so ago. Aside from this great drink - which you should all order - they have an excellent selection of artisanal groceries to buy and an entire shelf of nonalcoholic spirits to purchase. I came recently with my husband to get a few foods for a picnic and loved it! 10 stars out of 5 ❤️
Fantastic! Great coffee! Excellent staff! We had a cinnamon roll and that was very good, but the store has such variety of niche flavor items that I will be visiting again soon to try more of. Update: I would recommend a tonic Expresso, excellent way to spice up you coffee selection.
Super cool funky spot with delicious coffee! Tried to oat milk pumpkin latte which was very smooth with nice fall undertones. If you are looking for a unique gift or treat for the food lover in your life you should definitely check out their cool offerings.
I was looking for coffee around 6:00 p.m. and I'm so glad they open till 7:00 p.m. I believe and they have really nice atmosphere in the dark with lit up. . At first I was going to go with their latte but then I changed to their frozen coffee which has cold brew and oatmeal and it was really refreshing. I love drinking a frozen drink even if it's winter time because it's just so cozy drinking and then warm interior Cafe. . I love how the theme is lawn chairs so there is plenty of them outside where you can sit out during the daytime even during night time too. . The interior is like inside a garage with garage door and they have a little mini market inside that sells Wine and Booze. There is also tables that are red and red chairs inside the garage where you can sit and enjoy some picnic charcuterie board or the little snacks they sell inside along with coffee. . For the parking it is a little bit hard it is busy and there is tight parking outside but I had found a free parking spot right across the street. . Overall I am a fan of this coffee shop in Philadelphia and next time when I come back I will try there latte and their espresso. The service was helpful and they did explain to me when I asked the question. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading and have a yelp-tastic day.
It's a nice coffee shop. Their drinks are just right. Price is right, and taste is right. I loved the fact that they are open till 6 pm, even on Sundays.
My favorite coffee shop in the city! Everyone is always so kind and the coffee is so yummy. Also had a great selection of wine!
Atmosphere: 1/1: Has a unique hipster vibe. Service: 1/1: very welcoming and nice staff Price: 1/1: Average coffee and pastry prices Food: 2/2: Their cinnamon croissant was super tasty! Their pistachio rose and Nutella lattes were delicious too! Overall: 5/5: Although to those from out of town the area might seem like it differs greatly from Center City, it is definitely worth checking out Herman’s coffee.
