Sweet spot in the Power & Light district of Kansas City! Great food and Awesome staff! When we return to K.C.....A must visit!!!!
Came here 2 weeks ago, sat at a table for 33 minutes waiting for the waitress to come over and take our order. She made eye contact multiple times and walked away. People who came after us got their food before we even got to order our drinks. We decided to just order everything at the bar. I chose not to tip considering how horrible the service was. 3 days later I got a charge to my account from johnnys, The bartender decided to tip herself $20 . Our bill was $17 . Absolutely avoid this place at all costs.
The food was great, the young lady that was our server was very nice, and had some great suggestions. She did check to make sure everything was OK, so great job! For my time, I will visit again.
Johnny's is consistent! Best sports bar in KC. One of my favorite pizza places, and specials all week long. Amazing staff, too.
Please don't spray the customers with champagne. We were there for KC game today. When they won confetti was blown out over crowd which was fine followed by champagne spray. My coat that was just cleaned has to be cleaned again. Wet hair, wet cell phones going out into 22 degree weather to walk almost a mile to our hotel as we are from Arkansas. Wasn't planning on washing my hair, didn't bring my hair products, etc. Bad idea. Aside from that, service was good, food was bar food but good. Atmosphere great because of game.
We were here for the pep rally and decided to get some food everything was great.
Came here for lunch, it's seat yourself. All of the servers were on their phones. One server was delivering food to the table next to us. I made i contact, I assumed after she delivered the food she would acknowledge us. Instead she dropped the food and walk right pass me. I had to freaking say hey do we have a server. How rude I assume because we were black we were not worth a simple greeting. "Hello , I let your server know that you are here" . Instead it was ill go get your server. Rude never spoke, nor smiled. Obviously she doesn't deal with black people.
I came here for the Superbowl, knowing it would be extremely packed and incredibly busy. Gabby H. was the waitress for my table from 7am all the way until we left at 9:30pm. Despite working such an incredibly long shift and on one of their busiest days of the entire year, Gabby maintained excellent service and the best attitude. She was fast and efficient and did a supreme job at taking care of all of her tables. She also had the best energy literally all day. I'm thankful we sat in her section and I give her major kuddos for working so hard and doing a fantastic job in such a hectic environment and with a rowdy crowd. Thanks Gabby!!
Mary was really quick and attentive! the food and experience was great, i will definitely come back here. i hope she is our server for our next time there.
Food and beer was great, my server was good, but if you ask for something else to the others servers they are going to treat you badly....
